  5. Overlanding is Dead! Is it? Finally!!

I look at some of the people with overland rigs just like the ones that try living in a van. You spend too much time in situations that could tax your emotions stuck with a partner that you cannot get away from and you either go home and sell the vehicle or get a divorce. It is also a lot...
  6. We drove 5000 miles in a 2-Door to run The Rubicon Trail

Awesome trip - after recently finishing a coast to coast run with stops in Sedona, Tahoe, Moab, and Taos I am glad I got the 4-door. I still had room to sleep in my vehicle a few nights without any tent. I like the color of your Bronco.
  7. Ripped off by Ford and Off-Roadeo

Ok - good news. Now that the 2025 schedule is out, I called them back and now they agreed to credit me for a reschedule. All done - going to TN in March. Thanks for the input. Hail Ford and all that good stuff. LOL
  8. Ripped off by Ford and Off-Roadeo

When I cancelled both I-26 and I-40 (as well as side roads) were out with no idea when they would be reopened. If I waited to see when they would open (I-40 is still partially closed) I would be at risk to them saying I did not give them enough notice.
  9. Ripped off by Ford and Off-Roadeo

Actually I tried to postpone for next year and they did not allow me to.
  10. Ripped off by Ford and Off-Roadeo

Thanks - I will try to reach out to Jamie.
  11. Bonneville Salt Flats - Baja Mode in Bronco Badlands w/ ProCal Tune 💨

I was just there a couple weeks ago. The moonscape!
  12. Ripped off by Ford and Off-Roadeo

I signed up for the Off-Roadeo in TN for first week of November a while back. Then we had the hurricane in Western NC which took out the interstate into TN as well as many other roads. Due to road outages and doing relief work I had to cancel my attendance for the event. I had paid for an...
  13. Adding Keyless Entry Keypad to 2024

I tried to get my keypad to work and never could. Gave up as I really could not come up with a use for it. You can't go anywhere without a key and if you have the key it is easier to just open the door.
  14. 18 States, 6318 miles, and some cool trails

Left Charlotte, NC on a 12 day trek to visit friends in Calif, and hit trails in Sedona, Tahoe, Moab, and Taos with a goal to not break it! Also hit the moonscape of Bonneville Salt Flats. This has been a bucket list trip for some time - had my Wrangler back then. Bronco performed quite well...
  15. Hennessey VelociRaptor spotted in the wild

Saw this guy on the trail in Sedona. Sounded sweet.
  16. How to disable the speed limitations for the side mirror lights?

Thanks for the post on this. I hated the way the lights turn off when you drive. It was really easy to rewire these guys using your instructions. I connected both mirror lights to accessory switch #3 also. It works great now!
  17. Unintended Acceleration in 4L

Anybody else see this issue. I took my Outer Banks Sasquatch on the trail finally (Brown Mtn in NC - nice trails) and found when moving slowly in 4L with little or no pressure on the gas pedal occasionally the engine would try to rev up and I kept having to hit the brakes. Normally it would be...
  18. Installed a few items on the 2024 Wildtrak

Amazon doesn't have the door panels anymore. :( Molle has some but not cheap
  19. Tail of the Dragon photos

That road begs to be driven with top and doors off. Diamond Back 226 through Little Switzerland, NC is another awesome road.
