Just got back from the Texas Off Roadeo(we did the May 14th ride) and i have to say it is a Top 3 experience for us! We had Luke for our group all day, with Danni(from the Las Vegas Off Roadeo) helping out too for the day and these guys are first class! They explained all the buttons, options...
Had these exact ones on my Wrangler 392, and just received a set for my new Bronco. Best Tube doors on the market and stellar cust service is a Win Win for me!
I had it on my Raptor last year, sold it, now want it again for my new Badlands, but cannot for the life of me find where i ordered it from. It was just a single roof bar that attached to the back inserts int he hard top to give the OEM roof rack a "complete" look....see circled item.
Absolutely. Love Wranglers(have had 7), but I actually love the Bronco too....just feel the Braptor is over rated. I will give you the ride being better on the Bronco, but if I had to honestly tell you which one I look forward to jumping in, that would be the 392. The least fav, the Defender...
I have had the Braptor since 2022, not been impressed with the "pick up" yet. Now, I do have a 2024 Wrangler 392, and it just doesn't compare, plus i think the 392 interior is light years ahead. Plus, my Braptor is back in shop for the 2nd time in 30days for new transmission, new exhaust and new...
Well my 2022 Braptor has been in the shop for almost 4 weeks for new transmission, then a exhaust issues replaced and now waiting on a new turbo......fingers crossed it doesn't end up with a radiator leak!!!!!
44,000 miles in.....
So now we have 2 more "issues" that have popped up
- Replace some parts of the exhaust system, seems when they took it for a long drive to test out replaced transmission, there was lots of "clanging"
- Now the turbo has to be replaced
Seems like we are progressing in the wrong direction and...
Just got the call....after taking it in for an oil change and maybe "look into" a mild clunking when the Braptor shifts down, now means a new transmission? Oh well, glad it's under warranty...got 44,000 miles on it. Still one of my favorite vehicles!
Was a toss up for me on either getting the Wrangler 392 or a C8 Convertible as my weekend toy(the Braptor is my daily)...the 392 won out.....still look for a good deal on a C8 though...you never know!
My Braptor is my Daily driver, as it drives/rides pretty much like a SUV...now my new 392, now that is a hoot to drive! Glad I have great choices either way...
Not that this would play into this situation, but I noticed when I looked at a 2 dr heritage, that it had a sunroof "cutout" option in rear part of top...hadn't seen that before, so maybe this new roof is how all 2 doors come?
Wow, I must be in the minority here with not digging the new tops.......weird too, as the inside of it looks exactly like my 2024 Jeep Willys top, including the headliner/deadening liners! Wonder if they switched to the Jeep vendor to make these......
I've got a OEM Soft Top for sale in NW Arkansas that I used on my Braptor for a few months last year. All hardware included needed. Windows were never used(still in box)!
