I just ordered one, looking forward to trying it out. I had been looking at pulling the trigger on another mount, can't remember the company now but it was hundreds of dollars. Nice to see someone try a different mounting position.
Mine ended up being all the plastic connectors on the inside of the panel. If there isn’t enough tension after they are popped into the door they will rattle in the panel slightly. I pulled all the plastic pins out, felt taped where they install on the panel and reinstalled on the door...
My dad (who is a member on here as well) has this sound on his 2022 OBX 2.7L. He thinks it is the wastegate rattling. It does it sometimes on ignition off as well. The dealer told him it was something with the transmission or the wastegate. Don't see how it's the trans if its not in motion...
Yea I think I had the same problem with the 2.7, ended up finding it at Blue Oval Industries. Got it cheaper and faster, had Ford install it. The raptor I remember using points, so I got it from Ford, must have just hit it at the right time. I'd check out Lethal as stated above. If I had to do...
Definitely did, Service advisor said the tech found it on the passenger floorboard and they had an outside tech come in to do the replacement seal. I never noticed anything and wouldn't have until it messed something up.
So update...
Finally got it back yesterday. Think the dealer had it a week, but they ended up finding another issue that was unrelated and fixed it as well. Looks like they replaced a wire from the DSP and then another from the ACM and that fixed it(?). The additional issue they found was a...
I had that as well from the sub when opening my doors or back gate. Even before all that I’ve had issues with CarPlay on both the raptor and wildtrak, both with the B&O in them. I was hoping it was an update or something simple. Whenever if ever a solution is found I’ll post it up.
Looking...
Yea it went straight in. It’s at the dealer now. Was mainly curious if anyone else has had the issue or similar. Unfortunately or fortunately it seems like a problem they are going to just change out parts until it’s fixed. They ordered two cables today. Install, test, repeat until problem resolved.
Anyone have their audio just go to a straight loud static/crackling sound?
Mine has done it intermittently (twice since I've owned it) but yesterday it started doing this and would not stop after a reset or turning the vehicle off. I mean the vehicle was off, door open, radio still blasting...
I'm going to vote bolt in. dirt and debris will stick in the velcro, and eventually the sticky backing will start to come off with some use. plus... if you've put in killmat or something similar how well will the velcro stick to that
This "custom TPE mat" is not the one that goes on top of the drawer is it? And if it is not, I too am curious about how it will be installed and/or if it'll be removable. Would really like to have a mat that covers that area under the drawer but taking it out just to install a mat will be a...
Nice write up, I agree.
I have had mine installed for a few weeks now and its been great for everyday use. Recently have used it to tie down two small animal crates, love the rail system on the sides, and the slide out made it easy to load and unload them. I haven't had the chance to use it for...
I know this is an old thread but I wanted to post up what (I thought)worked for me to fix this as I have had this issue recently. I had tried all reset options, pulled fuses, battery cables , factory reset, etc.
The Fix (not):
While audio was “playing” (volume still stuck at zero) I went in to...
I currently have this issue on my passenger front door. As @Dan-O stated it appears mine is the cable and the keeper as well. I did try the alignment bolts on the bottom at first and it definitely helped but the culprit I believe is that cable vibrating against the inner door skin. Pulling the...
I would use the 5h1t out of them, like Jerry Rice used stickum or like Bill used Monica, or like Cosby and… eh you get the point.
Sticker adds like 10hp.
