Yes, that is correct. The concern is the additional weight of the spare on the tailgate. There are several rear mounts to support the weight n tailgate hinge. If you go larger tire be mindful the slot in the rear bumper for the tire may be too small for that tire.... It just depends on ur setup.

Oil catch cans are nice if running increased boost from mapping or a module. If running factory setup theres no real benefit... IMO 🤔 Recommend doing a search here. There have been many posts on the catch cans. I went with the Mishimoto Dual catch cans but, there are several out there...

If your shutters move freely, check your connections again n make sure the pins didn't get tweeked n the connections are fully seated, clicked in. Just curious... is it a high or low mount intercooler?

I don't imagine you are driving it hard (full boost) all the time. Would be surprised the turbo is failing. Did all the issues happen at the same time, what happened? 2nd opinion needed before pulling the trigger. Good luck...
