  1. Who has bought their bronco from another state?

The entire experience was really good and probably the easiest car purchase/transaction I’ve ever had. The trade in amount was fair and very transparent. We came to the amount over email and a phone call a few days before I headed out to pickup the Bronco.
  2. Has anyone put a Bestop soft top on their 2 door?

Excellent and thank you! I was thinking it'd be the rear window or latching down the front. I'm going out of town for a bit and taking the Bronco. I would love to put the top on before I head out.
  3. Has anyone put a Bestop soft top on their 2 door?

Thanks 😊 I hope you get your Bronco soon and get to enjoy the top this summer. I’ve watched the video and will totally use it while installing the top. I do suspect that the guys at Bestop are way more efficient at installing it and make it look a bit easier than it is. We shall see though.
  4. Has anyone put a Bestop soft top on their 2 door?

It shows on the install video that you should install when the ambient temperature is 70 or higher in order to soften the top a bit and allow a little bit of flex/stretch. Has anyone installed it in slightly colder temperatures without any issues?
  5. Has anyone put a Bestop soft top on their 2 door?

Looking forward to putting mine on soon… just need a good weather day!
  6. Recommended dash speakers for warm, rich sound

I can’t comment on the Infinity Reference speakers since I haven’t used them. In general, my thoughts on Kicker products is that they are far from the best, but generally a good value from a price to performance perspective. They are pretty much always going to be higher quality than most stock...
  7. Recommended dash speakers for warm, rich sound

I’m running the Kicker KS 4ā€ in the front and rears of my Bronco. I’d say they definitely have a warmer tone due to the silk tweeter. They improve overall clarity quite a bit on the top end and I’m quite pleased with them overall. They do ā€œcome aliveā€ once you add some amplification to them...
  8. Anyone use the Kicker downfiring sub enclosures?

Thats correct (at least on my 2dr) but I actually won’t be fastening it down. It’s substantial enough that it hasn’t moved at all in the back of the bronco. I’ll also do quick disconnects on the speaker wire to make it easily (or even easier) removable for when I need the space. I don’t think in...
  9. Anyone use the Kicker downfiring sub enclosures?

That’s my thought as well. Also, with an open air vehicle you’ll lose quite a bit of bass with the top off/soft top.
  10. Anyone use the Kicker downfiring sub enclosures?

I’ll be hooking mine up this weekend, but did do a test fitment. Mine is a larger version (compared to what you posted) with a 12ā€ sub and 12ā€ resonator. One thing I like is that it doesn’t really take up a ton of cubic space and the cabs are built strong enough that you can put things on top of...
  11. Bronco losing navigation (temporarily due to chip shortage)

Sorry to those that really wanted the Nav. I’m in the group that didn’t renew my trial navigation and actually switched to using Waze before it even ended. In fact, I wish I could delete the Navigation tab all together on my Sync 4.
  12. Kicker Key Amp 200.4 Install DIY Video - Do this first!

I posted this in another thread as well but, figured it really belongs in this one. As I previously posted, I purchased "kit 14" and I'm super impressed with the plugnplay kit. This kit comes with the harness, 200.4 and also an AudioControl LC2i. I installed the 200.4 in the same location as...
  13. Has anyone installed a powered under the seat subwoofer to the base head unit?....

You just have to remember to leave enough slack in your wiring (behind the glove box) to be able pull the glove box all the way down so you can access/change the cabin filter.
  14. Has anyone installed a powered under the seat subwoofer to the base head unit?....

I actually do... but perhaps not for everyone. I have the KICKER 200.4 mounted above the glove box in the dash. You'll find 2 support bars above the glove box. You can use a piece of scrap material (I used a piece of fairly rigid plastic) to lie across and attach the amp on top of it. This is...
  15. Has anyone installed a powered under the seat subwoofer to the base head unit?....

This (Kicker 48TRTP122) is what I’m putting in the rear of my 2 door. It’s actually the final piece of my audio upgrades. I just did a test fitting today and I like it a lot. While it does take up a lot of floor space, things can be put on top of it and it doesn’t take up a ton of cubic space...
  16. Mabett Cargo Cover for 4 door coming soon!

I think a hard plastic tonneau (maybe several interlocking pieces) would be awesome and also provide a bit more security, which is what a lot of people seem to be looking for. In addition it would also have more rigidity at speed. I would love to see something like this! I'm a 2dr guy and right...
  17. Budget tube steps

Looks good... I've been considering these for my 2dr. I like the look of the tube steps and the price is certainly right. I'm just waiting to see what the price point is for the IAG and AR full lengths that attach to the rock rails are first. Obviously, they're still going to be quite a bit more...
  18. Who has bought their bronco from another state?

I live in PA and purchased my Bronco in WV. I purchased mine through SAC and it was $1250 below invoice. I ended up making a weekend trip out of it, and took the scenic route back home through the Appalachian's. It ended up being a substantial savings and a great experience driving the Bronco...
