Exactly this... worked the first time for me.

I had no issues using my phone for this. I downloaded the file onto my iphone and connected it to the usb and it worked fine. I got the happy tone from the kicker setup the first time.

This is actually correct. It uses the bluetooth for the connection and wifi for some of the functionality once connected.

I'm running the same speakers in the dash and the pods. I have them going through a Kicker Key 200.4 and the auto setup with the DSP made them sound really good. I think this further explains why the fronts (from the factory) had bass blockers installed on them. I did put 300 bass blockers on...

Yes, the wireless carplay connects via bluetooth connection. I personally prefer the wired version since I've had a few instances of the wireless not connecting reliably all the time. YMMV.

(y) I'm doing the same and it's even more pronounced after adding amplifiers to the signal chain. I do also use the wired carplay with apple music as well. The Sirius compression is pretty awful (shockingly bad) and moving to the apple music for streaming was a huge improvement.

This is certainly helpful. So essentially it looks like the rears have quite the far stretching high pass filter (or curves) applied with a big EQ bump on the top end. It's actually funny because it visually looks about how they sound. Thanks for posting

Mine has disappeared before and then come back without me doing anything to it. Perhaps something to do with updates? Interesting that yours has a horn & lights button. I’ve never had that on mine.

No regrets for me either. Mine is a 2dr, 2.7, Badlands with the High Package. I was also fortunate enough to get it at SAC @ $1250 below invoice as part of the deal they were offering. Mine was also under 50k and I really feel that it’s the perfect combination of options, capability and price...
