This is awesome, I was wondering when someone would do it. This is what i've wanted to do to my badlands along with the longer vent tubes. These snorkels look a million times better than any aftermarket ive seen.
Tbh thats not that terrible when all things are considered! I went with Non SaS badlands 2.3 manual. Letting it get to operating temp and driving to work and back mixed I get 17-19 (depending on how long I let it idle). Pure highway is over 20 if its already warmed up. I remember reading these...
That's unfortunate, what's your build? With a 20 gal tank in mine id be getting 350+. There's just no more room under the thing. I'm sure there will be solutions with aftermarket eventually.
Only complaint I have is the fact the 2 door has a range of 300 miles. Obviously I knew this going into it, but filling up every couple days is a bummer. Silver lining, costs a lot less to fill lol
Also, the fact that Ford still isn't offering the color matched MOD top is annoying. That's no...
A 2002 F150 is not Direct injection, it is Port injection. So you wouldn't run into the same carbon build up on the valves. The 2.7L will be more similar to the way the 2002 F150 is because it is Direct/Port so it is "Self Cleaning". The 2.3L is only Direct and thus will not clean itself.
Yeah I ordered in person. If MOD top color match isn't a MY23 option I'm gonna be kind of upset that they're not offering it when they're dropping all these new models lately. I've held out for it so there is no point in going back now.
So, when they finally offer me my color matched Mod top that I've been waiting years for it wont have its price protection applied? Seems lame and unfortunate. #Code 99 crew for life
THIS is exactly how I read it as well. If thats the case thats crazy lol. I assume they mean that the e-locker came with the 4.27 gears? Although I could be mistaken.
I have my reserv/order (code 99'd) through walker ford in clearwater. How was the process for price? Did they try/did they add to MSRP? I called them years ago when I first reserved and they told me no additional fees, just wondering. Thanks!
Whats your build? I was contemplating going BL non sasq, and just upgrade to the 33/s on beadlock with the manual. Sounded more enjoyable than the auto with 35's/.
