That sounds like lifters to me. But like people are saying you won't know until you take it in. My mustang 4.6L had the same noise...I thought it was lifters, and it turned out to be the belt cover had broken and was making the ticking noise.

Maybe it is regional. But there are quite a few people not seeing these inflated offers, from many different states. Carvana ships cars nationwide, so why would they offer 20k over msrp in MA, but only 5k in CA, AL, NY etc? Maybe they have a sucker already lined up to buy the op's rig...
