All excited! Then, nope.... turbo charger waste gate bypass valve needs to be replaced

I was planning to pick this up Saturday. But on Friday received a message that the Turbo charger waste gate bypass valve needs to be replaced. It does not appear to happen frequently, but is not unheard of. Fortunately for me, a few miles were put on it running down the road to the stripe Shop and back to the dealer. The folks at Lubbers Brothers Ford in Cheney Ks have been on top of it. Great to work with. Maybe in a few days…..

Be careful mine said wastegate stuck open at 29 miles. Dealer claimed it was just the valve ordered the part and when installed the tech noticed my turbine not freely spinning needing a whole
New turbine.

Ha! Right. ‘21 reservation. 2.7 auto. Haven’t heard from the dealer yet. What’s a few more days at this point. Crossing my fingers that they find everything. They are pretty good.
