A momentary switch would be just fine if you used a relay. (I think.) You could install the factory switches, run a couple new wires and use a relay on each of the new runs.

There is always the rear view mirror option. But having an oem auto dim mirror , i didn't want to take out the mirror.

I have the illuminated mirror, so I don't know if there is power available in the headliner without the option. But, with the mirror, it was easy to tap in.

I have a 2.7 with 7k miles. I noticed that my mileage got better after about 5k. I went from 18 mpg to 21. Partly that is likely winter vs summer driving but this is mostly city driving so I feel better just being above 20mpg. I don't use the ECO mode, just Normal.

I know this is Apples and oranges. Jeep Grand Cherokee is not like a Ford Bronco. But, I am on a trip and I am renting a brand new Jeep Cherokee. I had an open mind and look forward to trying it out. I hate it. Too many reasons to go into here.

You know what I might try is to lift it off the bronco with these hooks and with it in the air, snap straps on for safety.
