I took off the back piece early in the summer and just put it back on last month.
I ran around with just the 2 front pieces or the front pieces and middle piece for months without any issues. I DID not run around with just the middle piece. That looked risky and really no reason for it. Found...
Love my Wildtrak. Was a first 5 minute reservation holder and finally got it in October.
Runs great, looks great. Can't give you any 4 runner experience, only Bronco.
My neighbor is reserving a Bronco too. I warned him about Koons Ford Annapolis. He went in and explained to them he wasn't going to pay over MSRP or he would go to a different dealer and they agreed to sell at MSRP. We'll see when it comes in. I still have to give them a big thumbs down based...
Had to drill a hole because it is built for vertical shackle, not horizontal. The spacer isn't the right size. I tried a couple of things and then eventually just left it off. Put the bolt in from the bottom, nut on the top. Didn't have deep enough socket the other way and couldn't get...
From what I've seen, Mike will find another dealer that will give you a Bronco for MSRP. But...the customer doesn't normally get the Bronco he ordered. You will have to wait for another one. Let's see how this one plays out.
I got screwed by Koons Ford in Annapolis. Same situation. I posted about it a month ago or so. You may end up getting your Bronco at MSRP if you are willing to wait for another one, but unlikely you'll get this one. That was why I ended up forking over 7500 extra to get it now. Still...
I bought the Fishbone shackle license plate holder. I did plenty of cursing trying to get it to work on the bronco shackle. Unless you are handy and have a few tools I wouldn't recommend this assembly. They need to make one for the Bronco, this is a Jeep accessory.
I plan on having the top off most of the summer anyway (can't wait for May). Still quieter than my wranglers were. By the way, taking the doors off isn't as easy as I was hoping. They are pretty heavy (which means safer than a wrangler). Harder to line up the bolts than my wrangler was. I...
So far my best guess is it is coming through the rear windows at high speed. The window don't have a frame. The glass just pushes against the seals which doesn't make a very tight fit when the wind is whipping by at 70 mph.
I love this truck. However, when I get to highway speeds it feels and sounds like I have a window(s) cracked somewhere.
It is definitely coming from the rear of the vehicle. I would guess coming from the 3rd piece that requires tools to remove.
I have not removed it yet to check for leaks. I...
I don't know what that means, but if you mean an official contract, then no. I just had the reservation I made with Ford. Everyone should get something in writing to avoid this if they can. Others can learn from my mistake.
I wasn't planning on keeping a table. If someone else wants to manage or start something that would be fine with me. I didn't see any information being kept in one post so I thought I would start something fresh. If only 3 people have been jammed by their dealers then no need for a table and...
The goal is to gather information on how many dealers are surprising buyers when they go to pick up their truck. Like me. No dealer markup was discussed during the order process. They were taking me hostage at the last minute. Originally they wanted 20k, then 10k, finally agreed to 7.5k over...
