Thanks for the idea about using the console box to install it. How are you running your antanae wire?

What radio are you installing? Been looking for a transceiver that can mount easy on the dash.
  3. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

Agreed. Sleeping by my lonesome there is sort of luxurious. Kind of nice to have all that space. And the 360 window view in the morning is pretty nice too.

@Cat I've considered it, but I'm also somewhat hesitant about totally jacking up all of the computer systems and electronics. I'll wait till I hear more feedback.
  5. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

Shoot, I was hoping for something simple like cutting a hole in the plastic vent then attach some sort of extender to that latch.

Interesting. Thanks for the picts. Are you able to manually rotate that piece down, or does it require gearing to apply more force?
  7. 💤 Sleeping deck build in 4-door Bronco with photos, plans, and recommendations for a mattress and bedding setup.

I'm embarrassed to admit that I only recently discovered that I can lift the back window of the soft top from the inside, which allows me to reach out and open the tailgate from the outside. That would have nice for me to know while I camped over the summer and fall instead of awkwardly climbing...

I did something similar, but definitely less refined than your set up (https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/hacks-for-sleeping-overnight-in-a-2021-bronco-4-door-bug-net-and-cargo-platform-diy.20246/page-4#post-726053) I love sleeping in the back of the Ghost Pony. Does anyone have a hack for...

Yacolt Burn State Forest Trip Spent the afternoon in the Ghost Pony at the Hagen Creek off-road park north of Washougal today. Nice trails with lots of views. And I have to say, the Big Bend trim with stock tires did just fine. Highly recommend.
  11. To Soft Top, or Not to Soft Top?

I'm also in Western Washington and have had my BB soft top since July, so I've gotten a lot of time with the top down in the sun. But now that the rain and snow are upon us, Ive been hypersensitive to keeping everything dry inside. And so far, so good, even in some torrential downpours. My...

I'm up in the Couv. Been pretty lonely here the last few months, only seen 3 other Broncos since I got mine in July. Keep me posted if you set something up. I'm planning on doing some exploring north of Camas/Gifford Pinchot area soon.

SW Wa Broncos? Took a day trip up to the Yacolt Burn today and got me thinking about other like minded Bronco folk around the area. Fun place to explore.

  19. Hacks for sleeping overnight in a 2021 Bronco 4-Door - bug net and cargo platform DIY

Thanks. Yeah I saw those too, but all these accessories are starting to add up. So I have an idea to just attach a tarp to the soft top off the back with telescoping tent pools to hold it up over the tailgate area. Will post it soon.
  20. Western Washington Deliveries

Mine definitely switched to "Built" after "In production". Then quickly after "Built" it went to "shipped" and gave me the delivery range. It sat on that status even till the day it arrived at the dealership. A day after I picked it up I got an update changing it to "Delivered".
