  1. What's everyone doing with their antenna?

I got the Cravenspeed Stubby 50 cal because, to be quite frank, the OG Stubby looks too much like a vibrator 🤷🏼‍♀️ Cravenspeed is made in the USA and I’ve compared it to cheap imitations I’ve seen on cars at my job, and there is a noticeable difference in quality. It’s worth the extra five...
  2. Goose Gear Stealth Rear Seat Delete - my review

This, 100x over. I’ve been too busy to invest the time into making my own platform (being away from home 80 hours a week does that 🤦🏼‍♀️) and I’ve been very willing to spend the extra money on a GG platform up until recently. Can’t find a dealer in a 3+ hour radius from me, didn’t get a response...
  3. Rear Seat Delete, DIY Platform 2-Door

No it doesn’t. I’ll go take pics later this morning when I’m done with my work meetings. im constantly folding them down to load cargo because I travel a lot. The seats are sturdy, which is a good thing, but to load a large box that requires complete base-to-floor contact you’ll have to do a...
  4. Rear Seat Delete, DIY Platform 2-Door

I’m really glad I found your thread. Amazing work. I have been holding out… too lazy to go through the effort of making my own, too cheap to settle for Goose Gear and want to wait to see what else surfaces in the market. But now I think I’m going to make my own 50/50 seat delete, and add a hinge...
  5. Rear Seat Delete, DIY Platform 2-Door

I’m happy to take pics and measurements if you still want, but they lay down completely flat at a 90 degree angle, the problem is they are mounted to sit on top of the floor pan, not flush like with other vehicles. So there’s a +/- 5 inch difference between the folded seatback and the floor.
  6. Another (unrelated?) hardtop issue…weatherstripping/ top gaskets

Call them and send them pics if you have to, but tell them to call up to Ford and have Ford send the correct top seals and instructions for installation. Ford has issued a fix and the shop handling my work order will have them sometime next week.
  7. Another (unrelated?) hardtop issue…weatherstripping/ top gaskets

UPDATE: Ford called the shop back with a solution and are sending top and door weather stripping that should be in next week. They said the bad top seals are common, but the wind noise coming through my doors “is a one-off” but they’re replacing it anyway. IF you have a leaky top, jump on it...
  8. Another (unrelated?) hardtop issue…weatherstripping/ top gaskets

Care to send a link to a readily available example? idk what to look for but I’m willing to go pick it up if it’ll help me put a bandaid on the issue for now. I’m weary though because from what I know about silicone, any silicone based product will degrade silicone materials it’s applied to. So...
  9. Another (unrelated?) hardtop issue…weatherstripping/ top gaskets

Save yourself the headache and have them call you as soon as big daddy ford issues their service department the recall with repair instructions. They will likely need new weatherstripping altogether to stock into their parts dept. And I feel your pain for sure. I don’t have a garage and here...
  10. Another (unrelated?) hardtop issue…weatherstripping/ top gaskets

I’ve had my 2dr non-SAS BD for four days now. I noticed this issue as soon as I got to work after I picked it up, but I just took it in today to have it looked at. Shocker: the Ford overlords have not issued a recall yet but are very aware of the issue; apparently it’s pretty common. The weather...
  11. AR | STIRRUP® OEM Rail Fitment, Billet Aluminum Side Step - Brongo6G Exclusive Part

After seeing the renderings, yeah, gimme! send it
  12. AR | STIRRUP® OEM Rail Fitment, Billet Aluminum Side Step - Brongo6G Exclusive Part

Alright but how many of those 5 inches will stick out far enough past the rail to ensure anyone in the parking lot who rams their door into mine will regret it? In all seriousness though, I’m glad to see someone is finally doing a rock rail-compatible side step. I’ll pay close attention but...
  13. Jerry Can Mount?

To be fair, (and I’m biased because I hate RPX and want to avoid them as long as possible), Waivian and other companies make 2.5 gal can options that would fit any base mount for a standard can. Call me lame but I will never buy a RPX system when you can get a steel American-made jerry from any...
  14. Jerry Can Mount?

Following, because I NEEEEED this. I need an aux fuel solution that doesn’t go inside or on the roof, and I refuse to give into the rotopax hype.
  15. Rock Rails, Side Steps, and Sliders.

Are they frame mounted or?? I want a set but don’t want to sacrifice the rock rails. I tried getting an answer from 4WP but they weren’t very clear with their answer
  16. FASTBACK hardtops: a response from Patriot Fastbacks out of Cali

Vomit as much as you want, FB tops are a lot more practical than people think. They’re a smidge more aerodynamic (which matters when you’re putting a lot of highway miles on) and they’re easily outfitted with mounts and brackets for good access to things like jacks, gas cans, etc. they don’t...
  17. Trying to laugh about it - Anyone taking bets on another Friday 3pm email?

Bro, MAS is just PX Carvana. The only difference between MAS and a brick and mortar dealer is just that; brick and mortar. They still have salesmen who do the same job. They still have very regimented inventory order systems. Been switching between title 10 and title 32 orders for the last 8...
  18. A strange dilemma

I was a 7/14 reservation holder, and up until about six weeks ago, I had no VIN, no build, no nothing. My new dealer (old one was terrible, got bought out, new manager got in touch with me) bumped my priority code to 11, to make amends for what the last manager put me through. Had a build date...
  19. Trying to laugh about it - Anyone taking bets on another Friday 3pm email?

If your dealer had you pay for your bronco before lot delivery, that’s 100% between you and your dealer, unfortunately. Most reputable dealers will not take a dime until the vehicle has been delivered and through post-transit inspection+prep. That’s to avoid the fallout of more common hang ups...
