What's the (honest) feedback on these front IAG minis after a few weeks? I like that they're inconspicuous - wondering if they actually provide any significant rock/splash coverage?
Holy **** it finally happened! Got a text from my dealer yesterday that my Bronco arrived. Picked it up today!!
For those keeping score at home: 4+ months since it was built and 665 days since ordering.
All the joy that was drained by dealing with this calamity has returned. Man this is one...
Getting back in here to vent with the few remaining people (of this build week) that haven't got their Bronco yet. Mine was damaged during delivery/unloading and that has apparently been fixed... But it was sent BACK TO MICHIGAN for what the dealer described as "another quality issue". WTF. No...
Sorry about the recall, man that really sucks. I'm still waiting... mine got damaged in the delivery process and is being fixed (ETA another month). Delay after delay, I feel your pain.
I could definitely be wrong here, but would assume they couldn't sell it as new with anything other than OEM parts. But a valid concern that I didn't think about
Yeah, good point on the build... Not sure I'd even be able to reorder this same configuration in '23.
Can't hurt to ask for some goodies, but I'm sure they wouldn't mind me walking away from it for the potential markup to be made.
Yeah I didn't get the feeling there was going any priority given, but haven't asked explicitly. The dealer comment was "Unfortunately if you re-order we do not know the timeline."
I just found out that my Bronco was damaged on the train or during the unloading process. Dealer says they (Ford?) are asking if I want the vehicle after it is repaired, or if I want to re-order (hahaha lmao).

Today marks 2 weeks of mine sitting at the railyard <30 min. from the dealership. These "truck shortages" are making me pull my hair out. On a lighter note, my tracker now shows my est. delivery about 33 years ago in 1990 π Can only laugh at how f'd this all has been.
Sooo... Any guesses on the "Stop Delivery" timeline? Assuming they're gonna have to tear apart the tranny on all of these before they can sell them? My 12/2 build date FINALLY arrived via rail and is en route to the dealership... Unreal, and par for the F'n course.
Exact same for me! My dealer messaged me and said: "It now shows that it is at the railhead here in Denver where they unload the trains, so it can get to us any time in the next weeks or so."
At first I thought the s in weeks was a typo, but I think he was just covering his bases ππ
FWIW, mine was loaded on a train on 1/15 and delivery is expected 1/25-1/31. You'll probably get another email tomorrow with a new ETA for early Feb...
@cobro92 Glad you got your rig, and thanks for the heads up! Typical dealer shenanigans I guess, but getting it for $110 seems like a good deal (assuming they did a good install) haha. Mine is finally on a train to CO... ETA by EOM.
Same here. Today my delivery dates moved back 4 days to 12/23-12/29... But with neither Ford support or my dealer having any shipping info, gonna assume it will continue into the new year (sigh). π₯
