No regrets at all, absolutely love my 4 door WT! Our kids are grown but we have grandkids. They love riding in the Bronco with the top back and windows down. The 2 door looks great, just doesn't suit my needs.
Check the classifieds... there have been several listed for less than a grand. I had a little incident, dealer quoted almost $19k for a new soft top. Oh, and to answer your other question, 21 and 22 soft tops are interchangeable
My WT, soft top, LUX delivered after a 18 month wait, I consider myself fortunate compared to many others-- and I removed hard top from my order about 13 months and removed tow at 14 months.
The wait for the Bronco is well documented, just a little research before placing your order would have...
I also have a WT (soft top), and agree with pretty much everything you said, i came from a sierra SLT and love the WT! How fast are you driving to get the mileage? We just took a trip to Kansas City from Okc this weekend, I averaged 15.5 mpg, but stayed with traffic at 80-85mph. We are taking...
I received the kit for my 4dr soft top much quicker than expected, THANK YOU! Great quality and Installation was pretty simple, took a couple days to ensure good velcro adhesion in this heat. The top is great, creates the look of a headliner and an additional insulation barrier for the top...
I have a WT, LUX with leather and soft top. We have been caught a couple times with the top back or down and run into some rain, it literally takes 30 seconds to pull over and flip the top forward and closed, a quick wipe of the seats and all done, no worries. Good luck on your selection and...
Well, if this is true, isn't Ford just about the biggest MF'er! My initial order was AMB then I was pushed to MY22, delivered in April, which I love my OW WT but sumbich, FU Ford!!!
Just want to give a bump to this thread. Brooke and the Granger Team ( @Zach@Granger ) have been very helpful and saved many forum member countless $$$. I completed the purchase of my ESP with Brooke, literally $2k less than what my dealership quoted at "$100 over dealer cost"
This is only a short work around, but if you have a battery charger, charge your batter over night, this will at least keep it operational for a short time each day. I had to do this for a month years ago when I was stationed in Guam needing a Pontiac alternator to be sent from the states...
I have a 22 WT, I drive about 70% highway, 30% city, continually averaging 17.1 mpg on each fill up...over 3500 miles so far, probably doesn't help running 80-85 mph on the highway.
Wildtrak, 4 door, soft top, lux, leather
Reserved 10/20, ordered Feb 21, re ordered Sept 21, removed tow Jan 22, removed soft top Feb 22, received April 22
