I got an email today offering a redemption of X number of my unused FordPass points for a full year of SiriusXM. I figured, why not? I click the link, redeem the points, and received an offer code that I'm supposed to input on the Sirius webpage.
Problem is, the code doesn't work.
I called...
Glad I'm not alone. Since the latest update, Google Maps won't populate on screen (blank blue background behind my car/arrow) unless I open the app on my phone; the screen does not respond to inputs (pressing play, skip, etc...has no effect in Spotify, Apple Podcasts, Apple Music); the Bronco...
Hi, all. I've been using wireless CarPlay with almost no issues since April of '22. Last week Ford pushed two updates to my ride. Since then, CarPlay has been loaded with issues. Google Maps won't populate on screen (blank blue background behind my car/arrow) unless I open the app on my phone...
It’s possible. I’ve got a non-Squatch 2.3 OBX. Boston to NY and back, almost all Highway, no traffic, Eco mode, set the ACC to 70 MPH, averaged about 25 MPG. Day to day, I average in the 21ish.
@Fuzion2Bronco @jdawg I should clarify my experience with Best. On the day we signed the paperwork, there were two people in the finance department and the dealership was packed. Though we had to wait more than three hours to finalize the paperwork, once we got into her office, Judith was quick...
I have a stock 2.3 auto OBX. From south of Boston to Westchester, NY, and back, about 440 miles, ACC set at 70 MPH, I averaged around 25, per the trip computer.
Give it some time and take the case off (I once used a Peel case, too). With my phone naked, wireless charging is now more consistent and actually, you know, charges the battery.
Hey, all. I was wondering if anyone in the coastal MA area had found a reputable dealer for a ceramic coating. NorthEast Auto in Pembroke quoted me $1,000 on the low end, rising to $2,000 for the top warrantied process.
Thanks!
I got antsy when I learned Best Ford in Nashua, NH, underwent an ownership change after I'd signed my MSRP Purchase Agreement, but Stephanie and John--and Judith, one of the finance people--honored the arrangement, and did not tack on any "must-buy" dealer add-ons. I'd go back to them in a...
Hey, all. I've learned a ton from this forum. But also have been conditioned to expect all kinds of hell from our Bronco once we took delivery. I thought, as someone coming from a lifetime of coupes and hot hatches, I could share my initial thoughts.
I'm a lifelong city guy with no illusions...
Upon further review, my Apple OEM case seems to be the culprit. My wife has a cheap Castify one on hers, and it held a connection throughout her errands a few days ago. I ditched my case, and the connection between the phone and pad is much more consistent, and my battery level went up, despite...
I’m comparing to my wife’s Tahoe; these are my only wireless charging experiences. The Chevy has a larger sweet spot, a steadier connection, and, you know, charges the battery.
Ford’s frequently loses the connection, and seems, at best, to maintain battery rather than charge it.
This is with...
Took delivery yesterday, and drove home about 85 miles from NH to MA, using wireless CarPlay for nav and tunes. In that time, my phone battery went DOWN about 5%. Also, the connection to the pad is sketchy at best, demanding frequent adjustments.
I’ve already searched on the topic, so I see...
