Mine is a LOT like this but I recently decided to go with a hidden winch skid plate with the factory bumper, so I can't put my plate low in the center any more. I have to move it right or left.
BTW the state of WA does require a front plate, but I forgot to put my plate on the front of my '17...
So they showed up last night (thanks Amazon!). I'll probably install them over the weekend. They looked ultra practical, rigid 3/32" steel that's coated. What you see is what you get, which is just fine by me.
I installed the Mishimoto last weekend. As soon as I pulled the connection off the PVC port on the intake oil started running out of the tube. I'll give it a week or so and see what's in the can.
I got the one from valkyrie off road. Doesn't hang down too far, and works great. Unfortunately I may have to think of something else in the future - I'm going with a hidden winch where the skid plate is, and i'm concerned the cable will interfere with where the plate is.
Yeah that's the first thing I did only to find out it ripped as well.
I ordered these:

The ones listed previously it looks like the backs can't be ordered any more.
I'm in. My wife and I have been going back and forth on winches and front bumpers. She didn't want the factor front bumper to go anywhere. I wanted a winch solution she would tolerate. This seems like the perfect solution.
I'm not super crazy about permanently modifying the vehicle, but for...
Ah I didn't even realize there are other options. Does anyone happen to have more info on those? I'm not going to bother replacing them as-is. Not happy with these at all from the factory.
I wouldn't be so quick to assume the sway bar end isn't damaged. It's a pass-through stud on the lower control arm, so if it banged against a loose nut for a while it could strip the threads off the stud until the nut vanished. Have you inspected those threads?
This makes me want to go out...
Anyone experience this? Surprisingly weak. My wife stuffed a flat LED light in there and the webbing ripped an pulled loose from the bottom. I'll have to replace it. Simply unscrewing the bolts and trying to tuck it back in doesn't work very well.
I installed the Mishimoto today. Good investment IMO - as soon as you disconnect the PCV from the lower connection you can see oil in the line. I also see about 1/3 of a qt. disappearing somewhere over the last 3000 miles. It has to be vanishing back into the intake. So in either case...
Ok, I ordered the front/rear rubber mats from Levittown Ford and I have to say they're a crowd favorite. The front weathertechs are going to be useful either when the weather gets bad again, or we'll use them if we're doing some serious stomping around in the mud, but the ones from ford fit...
Amazing advice. I wish I had thought of that.
Personally, I love your suggestion, but my wife's dog doesn't quite get it. So maybe both of you can provide her more details and it'll sink in.
We've had our 4-door for only a few weeks and I can see the paint taking a beating on the door thresholds where we step in. I'm wondering what I should do to protect that area. Seems like 3m clear adhesive tape might do the trick, but I was hoping something more substantial that I can install...
I run two catch cans on my 2017 GT Mustang. I'm dumping a LOT of oil out of the passenger side. First thing I thought of when getting this 2.3L ecoboost bronco is installing one, but I'm hearing that's not required. It's direct injection so why wouldn't it be? I know there's some installing...
