I think the problem a lot of people have in terms of price protection (both the bronco and standard retail programs) is that those are Ford policies and can be found on the corporate site. If they can’t enforce their own policies then it’s a terrible look, and in my opinion is worse than some...

Not a bad idea. I’d certainly send in my info. It’s frustrating that an experience that should have been such a great thing for so many of us has turned into a nightmare with how dealers have chosen to handle things.

Honestly, if things get bad enough, take to social media and all those review sites they sent links to. Cancel culture is real (it sucks but it’s real), and nothing makes a company work harder to make things right than an avalanche of bad press. I’d only go that route as an absolute last resort...

Definitely not worth the time and money to go that route, but people do dumb things all the time. I’m still waiting to see if my dealer and zone rep will honor what I was originally promised or if I’ll need to make good use of all the review requests I keep getting from my dealer…

This whole thing has been handled horribly by the dealers. And Ford doesn’t have anyone you can really escalate to because each dealer is “independently owned and operated”. I’m actually surprised no one has called an attorney about making dealers and Ford keep promises by legal means.

Eagerly watching this thread so some of us can end the nightmare that has been dealing with bad dealerships. Most of them front the money but there are plenty who make you chase them for it. For what it’s worth, the zone manager I spoke with last week was FAR more helpful than the dealer has been.

I’d happily give up that $100-150 to get my $1600, walk away, and keep away from that dealer at all costs. At this point I’d rather walk the rest of my life than give them another sale.
