22 Bronco Wildtrak - Hello, can't find a thread on this so apologies if redundant. Aside from the silly seatbelt clips, I was told to bring in for computer module upgrade. We're headed to the Utah backcountry in Oct, so thought best to do this vs. have issues 8 hours from help and thousands in...
After losing the our hardtop rear window in recent windstorm (love our hurricane force winds here in Colorado), it took nearly two weeks to get the window replaced at Safelite. Understand the inventory issues, BUT, when it was completed this morning I picked her up and, once home, noticed large...
Hey Team Bronco, this prompted a question I've had...anyone have picture of how they store the two front panels in the provided bag, using the industrial clips? I've not quite figured out where you clip those? Also, zipper on the bag went in the first couple months...
Hello, I received a recall notice stating that the fix was been done automatically via the wifi sw update. Haven't made sure that's been updated or tried it lately, but hopeful it's corrected.
To clarify, whole time was approx 30 as i was trying to download to phone a HARD COPY as many times when I’d need it, I won’t have internet. I’m not that iphone savvy so all i could seem to do was save bookmark link to web based copy. Give me a fuse chart under the lid. Pretty basic.
Good theories. I don't think I have actually added any fluid since factory, so maybe they use cheap fluid that freezes? They are from Michigan (FORDs), I think, so would seem odd since that's a cold place in winter. Hope the 1/2 gallon I added will help if that the issue.
For #2 & 3, guess...
One of our first real snow events here in Colorado Foothills Friday, and the washer, front and back ceased working. Didn't get a "low fluid" warning, but filled with half gallon anyway (so wasn't empty).
Since there was no pump sound, I assumed blown fuse. BIG ISSUE with no chart on underside...
Interesting, glad to have my experience validated. If it's just a gear shift, guess that's unavoidable. Could be bad though it it launched you over cliff or into a tree!
Noticed it first time I went off-roading with my new Bronco, but decided it must have been my foot hitting gas and brake pedal at same time. Took a difficult trail yesterday and am near certain that when I experienced it (2wice), my foot was only on the brake, or over brake. Odd sensation as...
Anyone run their STOCK Wildtrac in Utah canyonlands, Elephant Hill or Maze Teapot rock? That's where I'm headed and know if I blow a tie rod, I'm @#%&'ed (if you've been you'll know). Want to order, but timing for shippment is tight...
FWIW, my insurance company (USAA) covers chips fully. So as soon as I get a rock, and as long as it's smaller than a quarter, I take it in. Save on the $250 deductible and time hassle.
Still reeling from the big Wildtrac markup, but love it. In excitement to find one on a lot, I failed to notice no Rock Rails (strange since why would anyone needing front/rear lockers NOT need rock rails?) and underplating. Basically had to buy onsite, or they were marking up another $5k next...
