Still reeling from the big Wildtrac markup, but love it. In excitement to find one on a lot, I failed to notice no Rock Rails (strange since why would anyone needing front/rear lockers NOT need rock rails?) and underplating. Basically had to buy onsite, or they were marking up another $5k next day (new month).
So, long way of saying, need the most economical, frame mounted rock rails. Seemed the $650 OEm one's fit the bill. Questions:
- Does Ford just remove items from website when out of stock?
- Some change or issue with ones on the street?
- Suggestions on no step, heavy duty (meaning at least the 1.5 x vehicle weight claimed for OEM), frame mounted alternatives?

Thanks!

Looks like @flip (forum sponsor) has 3 sets of 4-door OEM rock rails in stock at his dealership, and priced with a nice discount for Bronco6G members who open an account at the dealership. Shipping costs may be high, but worth considering as an option.

Note: OEM rock rails aren't frame-mounted. They mount to the rocker panels, but they are still plenty strong to support the weight of the vehicle and use as pivot points against boulders or trees when rock crawling or working through tight trails.
