So at the very least the build and price tool should be crashing the Ford website about now so we can all build our dream 2025 Bronco! Even if they aren't going to take orders quite yet or build until the new year we have usually been able to build our frustrations for a bit before all of that!
Not going to argue with you there!
Unfortunately even as far in as we are with the Bronco some things that you only need one part at a time can only be purchased as a whole group (steel bash plates), and others (Modular Bumper, Roof Rack) are bought piece by piece which is super expensive! Just...
I happen to have an early build Bronco. Ford has made 0, read that a big Z E R O, offer to put the proper dipstick in my vehicle. Whoever told you they were making every effort to replace them was lying to your face (even if that info came from Ford). Dealership says they go by what Ford tells...
Amazing that you have been a member of this forum for as long as you have and apparently missed the post about this EXACT issue. The two dipsticks have been pictured on this very forum and show different lengths. Hell for your viewing pleasure I'll paste the link so you can't call me a lair...
The original dipstick is wrong. That is why there is a new part number. You need a new one to read 6 quarts in the full range for starters.
No manufacturer wants anyone other than THEIR techs working on THEIR vehicles and been that way since before I was born, but guess what? Many of us either...
I feel like the "correct" way to fix this would be to replace all of the afflicted dipsticks at their cost not ours. Why am I being asked to pay even more to fix their mistake so their techs can fill my vehicle properly? Said tech bulletin isn't posted in every shop in the nation, and all owners...
I've read many of the responses. Not all but many. My take is I'm not mad they are putting on paper what they should have done from the beginning. This is just the reservation system in a different form! It's why we did it in the first place and it meant nothing obviously. They told us last year...
Points for something I don't have the skill to do.
I am not positive what exactly the form or function they were going for, but I am not that impressed. I'm sure we could pick this thing apart all day long. I guess if they are happy with their work, and it survives the trail, at the end of the...
@BtlBrnBrnc Sorry been a little absent from the forum lately. Trying to do house things and play while mother nature throws her little curve balls.... Anyway, Congrats on getting your rig finally! I'm retired so send me a DM anytime and we can figure something out.
70+ 21 or newer Broncos in our area. Not sure how far and wide the advertising went for the show and shine in Carson City on Saturday, but 1 new (mine) and 2-4 Gen 1-5 participated as well. All in various states of readiness to play on the trails. If the interest isn't there for a Northern...
Definitely a cool event! I met several who travelled many more miles than I did! Just being around that many Broncos at once and the collective knowledge and comradery of the Bronco family was awesome! Especially when you are normally surrounded by Jeeps everywhere you look.
Why this all matters? Because the yellow makes me want to throw up! I notice details and if I'm paying 60k+ for a vehicle it better please the eye too! I shouldn't have to drop down to a bronco with less features and options or up out of my price range to get away from a crappy interior! Ford...
That right there and a very few other things are what would truly make this a "Bronco for everyone", and I don't see how it would be difficult on the assembly line? Either the installer has a selection of the 2-4 diff handles and other misc. parts there are, or they arrive "JIT" in batches as...
Velocity Blue was my other choice. I have seen a few around here recently and seen how sharp that color looks, but I get lots of compliments on my blacked out Carb Grey so I can't complain too much!
Did they say where it is going? Benicia the usual port was gutted by fire last week.
Id like to see if we can get Reno (and or nearby) owners together as our southern friends are doing. If anyone knows of trails nearby and we all want to tackle together etc.
Awesome work so far! I am so interested to see how this turns out as a finished product!
I noticed you didn't use your original rear portion of the roll bar for the half cab. Doesn't that have your GPS and a few other things attached? Were you able to get the same section from the donor more...
