Our 2.7l Badlands is having these identical problems. Reached out to the Ford rep here but they said they can't help us due to us being in Mexico.
Literally the identical issues as you including the same error (hill assist, etc..).
Dealer says they can't find anything but it just doesn't seem...
I have a new one for you.. I'm getting this window rattle when the driver's side window is UP all the way even.. happens when I go over a severe bump that shakes the car sideways.. sounds like the window is going to break every time.
I got my 2-door 2.7L Badlands last week and I just got stuck out in a remote area for half an hour.. got into the car, pressed the ignition button and heard a click and all lights turned off. Initially I thought the battery had died, but then I realized not even the interior lights were coming...
What exactly makes you think I'm trolling? You jealous I got my Bronco this easily because I don't live in the US?
The number of hateful (and racist) DM's I've gotten here in the last 4 days is unreal....
The window stickers aren't the same in Mexico as the US, they only have the most basic info (price, model, trim..). Is there something on the car I can photograph? The factor (Mexican formal receipt) only shows all the car's info, not really any factory info...
As long as you enter the US over the San Isidro border crossing and drive south through Baja without stopping in the Tijuana region you will definitely be fine. I would avoid driving at night as many of the roads are narrow and there is wandering livestock (and no lights) in southern Baja...
What they do in Mexico is they take your order, then look for a dealer within the country which has one, and have it transferred over if they don't already have it on their lot for sale. Each dealer has a few sitting on their lot and there are tons of dealers across the country.
The car is not...
From what I understand you'd have to pay taxes on the car if you brought it into the US. The way it works in Mexico is the dealer registers your car and you go pick up your plates the Mexican equivalent of the DMV. You wouldn't be able to drive the car into the US without plates, right?
What...
I know that you'd want to doubt a story like this considering the situation in the US.. except it's true. I can show deposit date and date of delivery if you're doubting any of this..
Thank you!
I was visiting my parents last month in Sacramento (CA) and went to the Roseville Future Ford dealer to check them out in person, only got to test drive a 4-door cause they had no 2-doors. The sales associate said if I gave him a deposit that day he'd be able to get me one in 18 to...
No, that's just how long the wait is in most areas of Mexico. You put in your order, give them 3 color choices, and within 2 or 3 weeks they'll bring over a car which is sitting at another dealership in the country. The demand is nowhere near the same as it is in the US, so wait times are...
