Guess what, if many more fail after the warranty but well before the life of the vehicle they could still be out of business. Perceptions as well as actual poor quality can kill a business, a brand, and a reputation. My Ford minivan's engine self destructed at 60,000+ miles. They waited 26...
Sounds just like the problem I have, though mine still clinks, when in the full forward position. I need to try driving with it full forward to see if the rattle persists. Not a solution of course, but concerned the source is not a serviceable part of the seat.
Bolts are tightened none found to be loose. The sound is coming from the right seat glide rail. There seems to be some play in the rail component itself. Lateral pressure applied to the seat back side to side causes a metallic click sound, but lateral movement at the rail is barely...
While I have not tried torquing the bolts, I did observe the mounts and saw no discernable movement between the seat and the floor of the vehicle. The movement seemed to me to be part of the glide mechanism, but I will double check the bolt connections and report back. Thanks for the suggestion.
Has anyone experience a problem with their front passenger seat developing a rattle when its unoccupied? The rattle began some time after the 20K mile mark. No off-roading done as yet, just ocassional rough gravel and paved roads. If I position a hand on the head rest and tug gently but...
I had ordered the magnum stirrups from them as well in the Fall of 2023. They arrived the Summer of 2024, almost as many months of a wait as it took to get my Bronco from date of order.
I ordered my Magnums 10/23 and began checking back with AR via e-mail a few weeks past the initially posted wait period. I had already been monitoring postings in this forum so knew not to expect accurate duration estimating from them, but did receive responses from PitCrew each of the 3 times...
This is an older model canoe and fairly heavy. Not certain of the manufacturing technique but the hull by my best guess is 1/8" or more thick plastic and not a portaging delight. A catastrophic failure of the clamps or rack would be necessary for blow-off but consideration for an accident...
I get your point on uplift, but if the hulls are junk as you suggest, how would tying off with a double bow line guarantee anything. Are you suggesting that the hull will/could rip free from the aluminum components? I have added straps over the hull for added securement. Does make me wonder...
The gunwhales are aluminum and clamped down by 1/4" steel plate with an L shape lower plate with upturned leg. These are contoured to the profile of the canoe so even if the toggles came loose, and they never have, the profile of the canoe would not allow the canoe to come free. The toggle...
For over 30 years I've been reusing some simple clamping hardware that my father-in-law fabricated from steel plate and threaded rod moving it from rack to rack with vehicle changes. With the arrival of my BD Bronco last year I began envisioning the latest adaptation. Made of simple wood...
I have a rattle from or in the driver door. It started after trying to open the door the first time the windows froze up. It might also be from the driver side passanger door as Ive not fully pin pointed it. Something sounds loose in one of those doors. Thoughts or knowledge anyone?
My drivers side passenger door window is or came out of alignment. Lots of wind noise because it no longer seals well. This happened after the windows froze shut on Christmas Eve with the Siberian express and the door got closed with the window stuck in the up position. Still need to look at...
Many people I know refer to Cyber Orange as "you mean, school bus yellow"? With Black in the scheme, I'd think more along the lines of "Tonka Yellow". CO was my first color choice before switching to EG and using the 5 Benjamin savings for the mod bumper.
Dare I say that my dealer's sticker almost looks better than the BD sticker. I only say almost though, because I like the BD sticker graphic, but think a molded badge would have been a better approach.
Thanks for saying "reality". It's such a hard pill to swallow for some. I know someone with a "I want it, I want it, I want it so bad attitude" but they are not ordering, they just want to find the exact thing they want on a lot but without exorbitant mark-up. I just politely wish them well...
