Has anyone experience a problem with their front passenger seat developing a rattle when its unoccupied? The rattle began some time after the 20K mile mark. No off-roading done as yet, just ocassional rough gravel and paved roads. If I position a hand on the head rest and tug gently but firmly laterally, there is a noticeable metal clank sound, and just a slight play/shift in the seat. My dealer says I would need to leave my car with them as it could take a few days to diagnose. Anyone else have a similar issue to report?

Have you checked to make sure all the bolts are still tightened/torqued to spec?

While I have not tried torquing the bolts, I did observe the mounts and saw no discernable movement between the seat and the floor of the vehicle. The movement seemed to me to be part of the glide mechanism, but I will double check the bolt connections and report back. Thanks for the suggestion.

I seem to recall reading that there's a 'floating' part in the Seatbelt assembly (at the bottom of the B-Pillar) that moves freely to allow the belt to lock in an urgent stop situation. (That will likely be dispelled by someone on here, no doubt.) If that is still true, that may explain your anomalous seat rattle.

Hi Mark! I can look into your Bronco's seat concern on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?

I have a similar rattle but it would appear that it comes from the B pillar trim panel where the seatbelt goes in.
I only experience it when there isn't a passenger in the seat.
If I reach across and push on the trim panel while driving the sound goes away.

Bolts are tightened none found to be loose. The sound is coming from the right seat glide rail. There seems to be some play in the rail component itself. Lateral pressure applied to the seat back side to side causes a metallic click sound, but lateral movement at the rail is barely discernable, just a slight vibration with the click. Actually, it's more between a clink and a clank when applying pressure, and a distinct rattle on rough roads. Guess I'll be trying to find a time that I can part with it for a few days to have the dealer assess.

Hi there! Will you send us a message with your VIN and your local Ford dealer? I can look into things on my end.

@Ford Motor Company, I had this issue pop up on our 2024 Wildtrak yesterday. I am scheduled to take the truck in this week, however is there anything else we should tell them when I bring it in?
