Dang that sucks. I didn’t have any issues other than losing an acorn nut during installation. I’ve had similar issues on Jeep tables and if it’s a matter of it not clamping down properly, I just forced it and in a few days things settled where they were supposed to.
Do you have any pics?
@Doc TOC I appreciate the feedback. It may very well help folks make informed decisions.
I trust ARB 100% and I feel like they are on another level. Their stuff is designed and tested for the Outback, they have a proven track record of manufacturing in the off road / overland / Australian...
For what it’s worth, I’ve had this exact compressor in the bed of my F150 Raptor for years. No issues with the wire run and I used an extension harness initially and later cut it to size with WeatherPack connectors when I relocated it to a bedside molle panel. I never even blew a fuse with that...
So I did this today. I feel like an old lady with this, but I park in the city a lot and it keeps eyes off whatever I’m hauling.
Yeah, I know there’s tons of security stuff out there, and I have a Slipstream on my Jeep since it’s a soft top, but this works for me around town. It also comes out...
Haha well it’s not THAT much more storage. Could probably fit a 6er on each side though, with some ice!
I would be all over a 2 door if that was an option on the Raptor.
I just touched it after an 20 min drive and it’s not even a little hot. I’ll add that the heat shield on this is much more substantial, OEM don’t even cover the entire length of the box.
I settled on this table and couldn’t be happier. I’ve had various tables on Jeeps and am never quite satisfied with them. This one is really well thought out and high quality. No (extra) rattles at this time.
The molle panels are an added bonus to strap in gear and you don’t need to remove...
Just replaced this today to get some extra out-of-the-way storage. There’s much more space with this and it can even fit an ARB twin compressor. I have the AGS tailgate kit ready to install so I won’t be using it for that, but I’m going to see about fitting a Redarc system and LifePO4s in there...
New member here. I picked up a 2023 Bronco Raptor about a month ago and am coming from a 2019 F-150 Raptor. Also have a Jeep 4xe Rubicon.
I’m between FL and MD and go wheeling whenever I can. I typically outfit my vehicles pretty well and look forward to getting at it with this new beast.
