DV8 Cargo Box Replacement

Just replaced this today to get some extra out-of-the-way storage. There’s much more space with this and it can even fit an ARB twin compressor. I have the AGS tailgate kit ready to install so I won’t be using it for that, but I’m going to see about fitting a Redarc system and LifePO4s in there.

I don’t need the original box so if anyone wants it, just let me know. Pickup in Downtown Orlando or can ship at your cost.

Been wanting to do this for the extra storage. Have you felt if it gets hot after a drive ? Since you have to remove the oem heat shield. I know it comes with its own that you double side tape to the bottom but wonder if it works as good as the oem one.

It comes with drain plugs and a water resistant membrane/sticky pad that should prevent anything from coming up.

This is a drop in (actually, pull up from below if not a Raptor) replacement. No angle grinder needed!

I just touched it after an 20 min drive and it’s not even a little hot. I’ll add that the heat shield on this is much more substantial, OEM don’t even cover the entire length of the box.

Haha well it’s not THAT much more storage. Could probably fit a 6er on each side though, with some ice!

I would be all over a 2 door if that was an option on the Raptor.

Oh ok. I have a 2 door as well, mine is the same as OP's. The rear section of all Bronco's is identical underneath behind the axle.

I’m with you on the 2DR aftermarket / storage envy. Where and I going to put that fridge? But I’m too used to my ‘70 to go 4 door. Still catch myself reaching for the column on occasion when I clutch my ‘21.

I don't understand why y'all keep saying the 2 door storage box is different. As far as I know it's not. DV8 doesn't even say this is more door only.
