Told my dealer a couple months ago I wanted to cancel. Price crept up and I lost interest so I figure I’ll cancel and let someone else in line get one.
few weeks ago I get a confirmation a badlands was ordered. So dealer used my reservation to order a bronco so they can mark up. Called Ford and...
Yea thats how I'm feeling. Sure anyone can buy an in demand item and sell at markup. was trying to do the community a favor. But if thats not an option then fuck, i'll take the profit instead of them.
Day one holder. I actually had second thoughts and backed out. My dealer said to cancel through him so he can keep his allocation. I got an email saying a bronco badlands was placed in my name. I'm assuming dealer will sell at markup. Not happy. The idea was to let someone else in line get ahead...
I will say the Brewster guys are really nice. Mustang Mike seems to be pretty knowledgeable. I'm still on the fence as the build I want will be delayed and I am having a hard time wrapping my head around paying $48k for a Ford.
The Grenadier is Def a cool copy of the the old defender. But honestly, old defenders were kind of a piece of shit. There's a fine line between being able to fix and having to fix. They also had a tendency to rust.
I'm still happy they're bringing it back (curious if it'll be able to be sold...
*Defender 90 has entered the chat*
all kidding aside, you’re right. They can’t afford another setback. I’m pretty demoralized as is. I went and test drove a Tacoma. Was a fun drive but don’t think it’s for me. Still plan on test driving 4Runner when they’re in stock in my area as well as...
Same I’m in no rush. Just got my wife a Tiguan last year and it’s awesome. German handling, pano sunroof, heated seats, Apple CarPlay, 8” screen, tons of cargo space, and it was $27k. Idk wtf is going on with car prices but out of control
THe only reservation I have with defender is that my price range would be mid 50s which puts me in the P300 category. That's a 2L turbo on a 5400 lb vehicle. Idk that just seems like a red flag for transmission issues down the road
P400s are selling well. The P300 not as much which is fine because I’m not trying to spend more than 55. I want an overland vehicle that is capable off-road and comfortable on road.
Defender in person is eye opening. The only thing that concerns me is the width. People say you get used to it after a few drives. I’ve yet to drive it. Was going to today but after the Tacoma test and some errands I didn’t have time. I’m in no rush and curious to see how spring plays out for...
Honestly, i was sorta half and half w/ defender when it was revealed. It was kinda cool, kinda soft, kinda rugged, kinda luxury but then i saw one in person. Thing is a huge beast
