When I walked up to the vehicle, it stuck out like a sore thumb but I do agree that in some pictures it doesn't look too bad. It's just at times it's so far off that I don't know if I can live with it. I know were not taking about the grill but I thought I would share it as well.
I seen it in person and disagree. The picture you are showing has a lot of bright sun washing everything out. At other angles and lighting it looks a lot worse. I think the important thing to note about all of these discussions is you really need to see it in person and then decide for yourself.
It's very easy to add a roof rake at home. Don't let that limit you to the 2.3 in Badlands if you rather have the 2.7. First decide if you want the disconnecting sway bar or not. If yes go badlands (obviously), if no go Wild Track. Then pick your engine and transmission choice. That's my 2 cents.
Bilstein had a representative at the Bronco Super Show East. They had a cut away of the shock and stated it was what was on the Bronco. You are correct, they limit the travel of the suspension with the 35's. Another member on the forum stated that was done with the bump stop which would leave...
Correct but YOU were referring the position-sensitive dampers and HOSS as being the problem. Those are the same on Badlands as they are with Sasquach. The disconnecting sway bar is a Badlands and first edition only feature and has nothing to do with the position-sensitive dampers and HOSS. I...
The only problem with your theory is that all badlands have the Sasquach suspension. If you stick with the 33's and 2.3, you can get the roof rack. Ordering Sasquach on Badlands only gives you 35's and I believe 4:70 gears. I think this has as much to do with height of the vehicle as it does the...
It has a grainy texture and looks shiny to me. It felt slick. I would be willing to get it painted satin black to match the flairs but I'm not sure how well the paint would stick to that material. The painted tops have a different outside skin.
It does not look like that, that's the problem. It doesn't match the black flares, trim, or cowl. After seeing it in person, I was extremely disappointed. I hope since we can't get the painted tops, Ford will consider changing the MIC top to black. That's what it should be in the first place.
To everyone who thinks they can swap to a painted top later, please keep in mind that it will be a long time before they offer them for sale. Every top they make will go to new vehicles for quite a while. Plus, it will cost way more than the $1900 upgrade at the factory.
This is bull crap Ford! First you come out with that ugly grey MIC top that doesn't match anything on the outside. That forces me to order a black painted top so the Bronco looks right. Then you tell me I can't get a black painted top. How about you give us the BLACK MIC top you should have...
Love how that Satin Black top matches the rest of the black production parts. Too bad we're stuck with Carbonized Grey MIC or expensive paint option. :(
I have been neutral on the whole Carbonized Grey MIC top thing. I'm very glad I went down to see it in person. It's shinny. It has a grain to it that's hard to capture in the pictures. I'm struggling to put it in words but looked almost "stone washed" in person. Did I say it was shiny? The grill...
After reading through the thread, there seems to be some confusion on the tire size of the black two door Bronco at the Bronco super celebration east event. The tires are defiantly 33's. LT285 70R17's.
There is an extensive thread on this all ready. https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/bronco-overland-concept-revealed-with-live-debut-video-pics-from-super-celebration-east.6326/
