Got mine today and started on the passenger side, but was struggling with removing the oem mirror. I saw in the video that it seemed like you have to get your fingers behind the glass and pull the clips to release them while you pull out the mirror?

I can't really get my fingers behind it much, so I was just going to keep pulling till it pops out. Should I be worried about breaking anything?

I just installed mine a few days ago. I used this diagram from an earlier thread and used my fingers instead of the screwdriver. I was nervous but once I did the first one I was at ease for the second one. My advice is when you put the new ones on look behind the mirror at all four mounting locations ( I used a flashlight even during the day). I had a couple that weren't quite on all the way and had to give it a little extra push.

Thanks! That image helped a lot, and I did need the screwdriver on the passenger side, once I used that it popped right off. The driver side was a bit easier to get behind as it has a greater range of motion.

Looking forward to checking them out in the daytime tomorrow.

Really glad I caught this deal going. I've noticed the BLIS on my stock ones aren't great when there's morning sun glare & the driver side has a blind spot from when I stop seeing the car to where the BLIS picks it up...not great Ford!
