My wife and I are on a bit of a vacation in California at the moment and being adventurous, we went to go zip line at a place called Highline Adventures which has the highest/longest zip lines in California. Zero affiliation with them but noticed their "support vehicles" were Broncos as well as a Humvee.

At our first drop point I started talking to one of the guides and she mentioned they have a Bronco experience where you can bring your own or they will supply one. She then pointed to the trails through the hills/mountains in the background which were pretty extensive. Apparently they're doing a pond so drivers can forge through water as well if they want. Standing way up there looking down, it looked way cool; enough so I seriously thought about driving my Raptor from Texas to go do it. I asked if the trails were wide enough for the Humvee and she said a lot of them weren't. The Raptor may be a no go.

Judging by what I saw, and the ride up to the top, it looks to be an amazing experience. Pricing was $349 per vehicle with occupants (4). Here's a link to their site with more INFO.

A few quick photos of what I saw, was my turn to take the plunge so I didn't have a lot of time to snap photos of the trails off in the distance. Not sure what the elevation was but we were up there. So if you're afraid of heights, might not be the best option. Located in Buellton, California. If anyone is local and has done the trails, maybe provide some feedback on the experience. I'm going to be back in June most likely and plan on doing the Bronco adventure.

Like the decals, also. Tours like this are awesome; I'm so thankful for ALL the USFS roads that offer both challenges and very rewarding experiences, views and sights!

Not to crap on paid tours, but I always look at the price of these for a family of 4 and kind of just shake my head. It's like PInk Jeep in Sedona, AZ. Easy to drop $400+ for a couple hours of entertainment at best. Seems like a better deal at that point to get a rental Jeep in most cases (but I guess many folks are scared to drive).

Maybe I'm just cheap and having owned vehicles that could get through pretty much everything a tour will run the last 13 years has jaded me :). I'd rather use the money elsewhere though!

Well sure, if you have the means, local knowledge and ability, totally makes sense for you to skip something like this.

Having never gone off road in this area, a guide would be beneficial to me personally and given the fact I get out to this area about once a year, and don't know any off-roading areas (I'm an on-x member but still...) it's actually a pretty good deal given they provide the Bronco. Plus it employs people that keep the trail functional as well. They actually do a lot of cool stuff and I was pretty impressed with their staff and knowledge on a variety of subjects. And the trails, from what I could see, looked like they'd be a lot of fun.

It was not lost on me while driving through Central Cali, all the farm roads running around the outer perimeter of grazing pastures, up and down hills, would be absolutely amazing in a Braptor. Just don't know anyone to be able to do that.

If you are coming out in June, come join us at the Big Bear Bronco Bash the week (Thurs -Sun) before Father's Day. (@Dusty would have the actual dates) It's a free event that has something for everyone but is what you make it. I'll be leading a run on Friday & Sat of the event. https://socalbroncos.net/bbbb/

Big Bear even has zip lining if that is a requirement.

Last year the wife and I rented a Bronco for two days from Anthony & his son Marcos from Bronco's of Sedona https://www.broncosofsedona.com/
I can not recommend them enough. We had a great time and his rig was great. We went on Broken Arrow (twice), Solders Pass (need to get a US National park pass so plan ahead), Diamondback Gulch, Van Deren Cabin Trail, Outlaw Trail and Smasher Canyon (I don't recommend this trail unless you are experienced and are willing to pay the deductible for possible damages)
We are actually going back at the end of this month and rented 3 days this time to hit more trails and revisit some of the list above.
Renting a Bronco beats riding in a Pink Jeep or renting a Jeep
