Yessss ?? Another petite gal! I’m doing the 2 dr BL because I want to retro look as much as possible. My son is grown and my two dogs are small! If I need more space then my husband can drive separate in his truck lol. And this gives me an excuse not to be a taxi for friends. Lol.Not bad. If I were to camp I'd keep it pretty simple on the essentials. I'd be at least having a folding cot with me and a tent. On the other hand, I could sleep in the bronco if it were a 4 dr. I'm barely 5 ft, so I can fit in pretty small spaces haha

Most of it is a force of habit. You learn to work around any space issues. For the most part if I need to get anything big, a trailer would be the best way to go. I have a motorcycle, so I need to be able to have a hitch for a trailer if it needs a trip to the shop.I have considered the four door since I sometimes drive my niece, her two kids, and a friend. Five won't fit in the two door, and the younger son is too big to fit in the way back.
It's been over 20 years since I've driven a two door. I'm very used to putting gear or groceries in the back seat instead of the hatch. That mindset will change easily, but it is a "force of habit" thing.
The 4-door is much more practical than the 2-door.Howdy y'all. I'm still stuck between 2d BD or the 4d BB. I already drive a supercab f150, and used to drive a mini cooper. I love hiking and such so I would think a 2 door would be ok. Thoughts?
I didn't look under the seat but did ask the rep today if there was going to be an easier way to move the seat forward. Currently you have to reach under the front seat and grab the bar and pull forward while releasing the rear latch (top corner of the seat back) with your other hand. I was hoping for more of a one touch release of the lever on the back of the seat and it'll push forward. His response was " We're still not sure yet".I have been back and forth between your stated options for some time now; heart set on a 2dr BD, head telling me to go with a 4dr BB. The tipping point will be how far the front passenger seat moves.
@AzScorpion, did you get to see how the front passenger seat travels, is it on rails, pivot or rail/pivot? We have a 3 year old and a 50 lb Golden Retriever that do just fine in my access cab Tacoma rear area, which is like a medieval torture box for an adult to ride in. Sure, the suicide doors are nice but I could still use it if they were welded in-place because the front passenger seat is on rails that allow for like 15” travel, plus the incline/decline tilt.
On my early Bronco, the left-rear corner has a locking hinge that allows the seat to fold forward. It’s awesome, my 6’3 225lb buddy can get back there no problem and the dog loves it too. I know they probably can’t do that for safety reasons anymore but I feel like if there was a special feature (rails + pivot) to make the 2 door more user friendly, more would be swayed into the BD from BB.
With both seats up I think there was only like 16" to the tailgate. There is a lot of room while they're down though so if it's only 2 people with some gear you're all set. With 4 people you'll barely have room for take out. ?At the 4x4 Expo in Phoenix today another attendee near me talked this not-so-small Bronco rep into crawling around in the back of the 2-door.

I think it's plenty of room for what I need (with an added roof basket if I need it.)
But like I keep telling everyone who is still undecided...
GET THE 4-DOOR.
That way my 2-door will be special and rare.??
Could be my #1 gripe - access in/out of the 2-door rear seat area. Videos I've seen do not show the passenger front seat moving far enough forward. If Ford had got more creative with a slide/flip mechanism, there would be a wider access opening. Hoping this is remedied by production.I have been back and forth between your stated options for some time now; heart set on a 2dr BD, head telling me to go with a 4dr BB. With just a dog? I'd go 2 door. Easier to keep clean and the lack of the rear seat door openings minimizes your dog falling out of the vehicle at 80 on the highway! The only other frequent passenger I take is my dog lol. I've taken quite a few trips for hiking and the truck is a PITA to park anywhere, but I signed up for it haha.
But only men and bears allowed inside cab.this is true - police really don’t like this so now I bungee cord the kids to the roof.
