The US House of Representatives passed the bill to avert a rail strike just now (11/30). The bill now goes to the Senate for approval.

The House also pass the bill that will give the rail workers 7 days of paid sick leave.

Senate could approve of both bills as early as this week.

On 12/1 the US Senate approved, by a vote of 80-15, the bill that will force the rail workers to agree to the deal hashed out in September.

The bill to give the rail workers 7 days of paid sick leave was denied by a 52-43 vote.

The Bill to avert the rail strike is now going to Biden's desk to be signed into law. His pressure on congress to pass this very bill is a strong indicator that he will sign it.
