The Goose Gear Modular Drawer System was installed this morning. This is very sturdy and well made. Placement of the Drawers on the Plate Floor is adjustable forward and back. Not sure yet where final placement will be? This version of the Goose Gear Drawer System is 8" high and has the 36" deep drawers.

I was not happy with the sound on the Center Dash channel for the 2-way Kicker there. I switched to a PRV 4" Midrange which made a great difference! This calmed down the highs from the dash area that was too much before.

I did go back and install Dynamat on the Rear Floor Deck and over the Wheel Wells. I also filled the factory Sub Box with Poly Fill and made sure to wire correctly this time. One side + and - was reversed so the phase was off.

Once everything was re-installed the sound quality is so much better. I'm really not sure that I need Amps and a Matrix??? I'm sure it would sound better yet if tuned correctly.

The PRV speakers (pictured to the right) are Very inexpensive and this Midrange sounds great in the Center Dash.

Thanks for all these suggestions. I ended up doing the same with the center. Installed foam, the PRV midrange and 300hz bass blockers.

I tried multiple 6.5 speakers in the kick panel (Hetz, Kicker CS) and they were both worse than the OEM, due to amp settings maybe. I ended up just leaving the OEM speakers. In the rears I added the 4” kicker CS, which I’m sure need upgrading to 6.5s.

Intersting??? I did not use Bass Blockers or add an Amp.

I have the Kicker 46CSC6704 - 6 3/4" in the Kick Panels of my 4-Door and they worked out great there. Focal 4" in the Dash Corners and rear pods and PRV Dash Center. I also think the acoustics in the 4-Door are much better than the 2-Door.

Sound is subjective I guess because the 6.5 KICKER 46CSC654 sounded bad to me. Worse than OEM.

I have the 4Door B&O

I've been testing different speakers in the Mabett Rear pods.

The Kicker KSC6704 6 3/4" were pretty good but not as I had hoped.

The B&O system has Midrange Speakers in the Center Dash, Kick Panels and Rear Pods. I had great success with the PRV Midrange 4" speaker in the Center Dash. So, I decided to do the same for the Rear Pods, and if better I would do the same for the Kick Panels.

Here is a comparison of the Kicker I took out and the PRV 6 1/2", 6MR200A-4 I installed. The PRVs are heavy duty in comparison and physically bigger. They weigh at least 2 times more and the Magnet on the rear, as you can see, is so much larger. The PRVs look and feel like a better quality Speaker.

These PRVs are also rated at 200 watts with a sensitivity of 94dB and a range of 155-11000 Hz. (I can't hear 15k+ Hz anyway) All of this at half the price.

OK, so how do they sound? They are louder at the same volume setting. Deeper sounding (no tweeter) and overall a more rich sound. I have no complaints on these speakers.

I'm thinking the Midrange is better suited to the DSP of the Factory Amp.

I installed the AMP Power Steps a couple weeks ago. I really like these compared to other side steps. The Factory side steps are actually too high and I have to duck my head to get inside the door while standing on them. The AMP steps are lower where they should be and it makes it much easier to get in and out.

However, I did run into an issue yesterday while installing the Icon Suspension with remote reservoirs. The Reservoir Brackets are to be mounted right where the AMP Steps motors are mounted. Not good!

We've come up with a solution and Icon customer service already knew about the issue. Very good customer service by the way.

I'll show pictures and updates when the suspension is fully installed and up and running.

I had the Icon Stage 8 Suspension installed last week. Wow! What an upgrade!

I have the Dampening set to Normal Driving Mode 2 out of ten. This setting has a very nice soft suspension feel. I have the G-Boost Setting maxed out at to 10. There is Minimal Nose Dive when braking hard and Minimal Squat with hard acceleration. I also have the Corner Boost maxed out at 10 as well. These is minimal side to side sway. The harder you push it, the better response you get. There are also settings for Off Road and Towing and all of these settings are programmed via Icon APP with an I Phone.

Front Icon Stage 8 Suspension with Ford HD 3.0 Tie Rods. You can also see the (CDEV) Electronic Valved Reservoir.

Suspension is set to about 2 1/2-3" lift height. The 285/75/18s are Taller than Sasquatch Tires.

The only thing left on my list is to have the Hard Top painted Cactus Gray. Hopefully this month.

Then she is done.

After being worked on, the trim shop took some photos of the Bronco for their Photo Album and Videos to showcase their work.

I installed the Raptor Style OEM Fog Lights on this Bronco today. For this truck, not only do they look great but they function very well as legal fog lights. These will be much more useful.

Very clean and subtle design. They do put out a very nice Fog beam in either white or orange. These are also very easy to adjust up and down with the dials on the back. I would have liked some side to side adjustment as well.

I really don't need the extra Off Road Lights I had on before. No, these are not nearly as bright as the Baja Designs Pro Fog Lights I had previously installed. But, I could not use those on the road anyway.

Here is what she looks like, day one at the dealership.

Ford Bronco 2023 2-Door Cactus Gray Special Decor Build IMG_0787

[O- FORD -O]

In the thread title is "Special Decor". For those not familiar, Special Decor was a certain trim package found only on the 1976 and 1977 Early Broncos. Really nothing so "Special" about it other than a distinctive Stripe Kit which goes across the Hood and down each side with a Blacked Out Center Grill and optional Body Color Top. It has always been my favorite Early Bronco and I will do the same with the 23 Badlands. I do have a Special Decor striped 2022 4-Door as well, but since this one is a 2-Door, I will also make it look more Retro like an original Bronco.

Here is what has been Modified and Upgraded:

Love the build in all it's beauty. Question..I"m planning on using the same lift...but the outfit that will do this for me...said the rims offset need to be minimum +18 offset. Was it a problem at +12 offset? Meaning any rubbing, etc?

From 0 to +30 offset seems to be the sweet spot.

The 2-Door you see has the +12 offset with 285s. I have a 4-door with +18 offset 18x9 wheels and 37/12.50/18s. No issues what so ever with either truck.

Thank you.

The Special Decor is a very rare look for the 6G Bronco. (I think I have the only one with Black Heritage Grill and Stripe) It was kinda rare, two year only, in 1976-1977 as well when available from the factory.

I like the White of the Heritage look too (White Top and Grill), but it has to be on a 2-Door.

My body/paint guy tells me next month for the Hard Top to be painted. He does Excellent work. I can wait.
