2023 subwoofer delete/aftermarket add

Hi all. After an hour or so of Googling I haven't come across much information about aftermarket options for the 2023 Bronco that has had the sub deleted.

Any links/suggestions/advice on how to re-add the sub after delivery would be greatly appreciated.

I’m removing mine in the coming weeks.

if you want something that actually sounds better than “not quite acceptable,” JL Audio is coming out with a product (stealthbox) that goes in that same spot. There is at least one other aftermarket part that will go there, too.

I’m going with a tailgate-mounted sub, though. (MTI Acoustics. Stinger also makes one.)

I have the Factory Amp and Sub that came in my 23 id be willing to sell if interested. $150 Plus shipping and its yours. i went the tailgate mounted route, and mines was takin out and sitting in the garage.

I got the Ford amp for $50 + shipping, the Kicker Sub in the thread, and a cable for Forscan right at about $250. Everything finally arrived but it is now cold outside and in the garage. Don't want to break any clips so waiting for a little warmer weather.

Good way to go if you want OEM. I would have been interested a couple weeks ago.

Great tips. Anyone with a post-December 2023 able to confirm what Ford has put in place of the deleted sub? Is the grill still there?

I built my own. I really didn't care about the loss of space because I can still pile things on top of it.

There's a few posts with this info as I put some info in them, just a quick recap:

- Sub Enclosure is there with a Sub that has no magnet, an Amp with no chips, and the Sub trim panel.

- I added a Kicker 8in Comp RT Sub $125 and Soundstream Sub AMP $135 and used a Plug and Play harness for $175. Sounds decent but I also swapped out all 6 speakers while I was at it.
