I'm kind of surprised, as it was initially only supposed to deliver about 3 days before yours, and the date kept getting changed in the tracker. The last change ended up putting estimated delivery 3 days in the past, before just saying delivered. Almost makes me think that Ford never really knows how long it will take 😂
Oh, yours was supposed to be delivered around the end of Sept?

Initially after it said "built" the delivery estimate was between the 19th and 24th of September, but the date changed 1 or 2 times a week after that. I didn't trust it, until it showed delivered. I drove by that day, my dealer is 1.5km from my house so I figured I may as well check. Saw it parked out back, covered in dirt from transport.

I was pretty happy to see it! Plus if yours is going rail, Ford really has zero idea from when it goes on the train, until it comes off, so it's a very real possibility that yours could just show up

Not exactly. Ford 100% knows the rail car number. If they give you that, you can track it's exact position by calling the numbers listed in the tracking threads. I tracked my first Bronco back in '21 daily. I told my dealer when it arrived at the location where their trucks were supposed to go pick it up.

Should've phrased it better, yeah they can totally track it and know where it is. Estimating when it will get there is a bit more challenging. They're lying to Ford and Ford is lying to you

Ooof that sucks, same dealership?
Not the same dealer, but it was in California. Built the day mine went into quality hold, delivered via rail and sold! 😂

I should find out this coming week if mine will be probably. Blend date is 9/3, fingers crossed no hold.

That’s what my dealer told me. Still no update on the tracker since 8/11.
Yeah, unfortunately same here. Hopefully we'll have some movement this week. Ugh, what a pain.

So, mine was supposed to be delivered to the dealership this week. I messaged my dealer on Thursday looking for an update and he said there's an updated delivery eta of 9/5-9/8. So basically, it's just sitting in a rail yard waiting on a car carrier to bring it a few hours south.

So, I asked my dealer if there was any way to try to expedite the delivery because I work the 5th and 6th (shift work so I'm at work from 7am on the 5th to 5pm on the 6th), they're closed on the 7th and my lease is over on the 8th so I'm without a car. Not to mention, I'm not sure how much dealer prep is needed. I assume it's not like "hey it showed up today, come get it".

He said he'll "contact the shipping company and mark it as a priority delivery". So, we'll see what happens. I wouldn't really care if my lease wasn't ending in 8 days and its literally just sitting in a lot 2 hours away.
