Hey guys,

I delivered a new 2025 Stroppe VIN: 1FMDE0AP0SLA20146 It had a blend date in late February and the client is beating me up to figure out what number his was built. Personally, I do not think it will be a low enough volume to amount to anything down the road, but to him it is a big deal. He's a bit of a collector and has plenty of vintage stuff where it did mean something. I do know that his was in the first couple weeks of production at MAP, but that is as far as I can get with the tools at my disposal.

Are there any members here who could help out or give me a contact?

I can’t help but also wondering the same. I assumed we’ll have to wait until year is done. If you find out how to track please let me know also. I have what I believe is an early one: SLA20017

I was told Ford will cap the Stroppe Edition at 5% of model year
BS. They are not production limited. The limiting factor is the price. If there was market demand, Ford would love to produce as many as possible.

We are still trying to figure out final production numbers on Limited's.... Maybe they made 1966 of each maybe they did not.... I WOULD LOVE to know where in that production run I am at... EXACTLY.... I am pretty sure I have one of the first 8 two doors produced.... but even that is a guess.... 2 years later.

Yeah, in today's world and the way VIN's are assigned at date of scheduling vs when they are produced there really is not a simple method to figure it out. If there was some one at the plant with a spreadsheet or something, where there is a will there is a way. Because somewhere there is a record of what day, what line etc they all went down. Unfortunately, I am sure it is proprietary and for good reason, so doubtful that whoever does know would be able to share the info is my guess.

On your run it was supposed to be 1,966 total Heritage limited each year (2 year run) but out of those only a fraction were 2 doors. I would guess that Peak blue would be the rarest as it was only part of one year's color options. Robin's Egg being the most prevalent and popular and Yellowstone somewhere there in the middle. Either way you have an extremely unique rig and I love seeing that thing!

Exactly. They are NOT in demand. If someone wants one today they're available without a markup.

Actually there were suppose to be 1966 2 doors and 1966 4 doors.... I "THINK" they produced 1966 4 doors but, because there were so many stop productions (mod tops and other issues) on the 2 doors I just do not know..... I question if they got 1966 out the door.... I just know blend date was June 26 2023 and a week later someone posted production numbers that showed only 8 2 doors had been produced for the year. It is also the very first 2 door limited I ever saw offered...... Again only limited perspective with no real knowledge.... pun intended..... It posted and was offered for sale on 7/1/23 and purchased 7/1/23. It was still on the MAP parking lot. arrived 8/4/23

The 1966 for 2-drs and 1966 for 4-drs is something that has evolved from Ford's original statement. Ford never committed a specific number for each body style. They only stated that there would be 1966 for each model year. Now, we know the typical body style ratio is an 80/20 favoring the 4-dr. Combine that normal ratio and throw in the issues with the 2-dr mod top, the population of a 2-dr HEL will be even smaller. Break it down further by color, and the 2-dr Peak Blue HEL will be the rarest of all the 2-dr HELs.

Rest assured, there is only one Boulder Mtn. Edition. And we can all give thanks for my friend Brian providing inspiration with his John Bronco Sells Heritage Edition renders produced before Ford ever released information on the Heritage Editions.

Your friend Brian is fricken AWESOME! The man has vision I admire. Obviously..... Interesting I did not know that 1966 and 1966 was for each year... Kept hearing it was for 4 doors and / 2 doors... That does make some sense though. My color is not so rare and that is okay with me.... I am still trying to chase it down but I think (both wife and son say they have seen it) there is another 2 door REB limited in my neighborhood.... Got it narrowed down to the house but the garage is always shut..... There is a peak Blue 4 door on my same street... I am just having fun with this.... Does not matter if it is rare or not but would just be fascinating to know.... My kids are going to have to figure what to do with this one some day......

From the press release Aug 11, 2022, I read it as 1966 2 doors, 1966 4 doors, 1966 Sports:

"The special-edition models will be available across the Bronco family lineup, including Bronco two-door, Bronco four-door and Bronco Sport SUVs. Ford will build just 1,966 units of each Heritage Limited Edition model to commemorate the year the original Bronco debuted."

All I know.... Is that I really liked the rendering Brian made and I wanted that! or at least as close to that as I could have. I figured it would be hard to get..... I think I got lucky and I absolutely love what I ended up with. This thing is so much FUN!!!! These things are so fricken capable! I have had a number of 4x4s in my life.... I have always tried to make them a little better than what the factory offered. This one is the best that I have ever had..... out of everything I have had or thought about.... It is not a rock buggy. It is not the end all be all.... But it is the balance of all my wishes and desires.... I am still working on it though. What is next is always a fun thought.
