What ford needs to do is create a poll for all bronco enthusiasts to do and have options for one specific special edition trim including 2 dr, v8, (manual option available). If they do that I can guarantee the majority of people here will check all those boxes and probably are more willing to trade in their current bronco for it. Resulting in more profit for ford.
Are you serious? You think Ford would make a profit on a 2D, manual, V8 Bronco? I think you seriously misunderstand the market and demographic.

Look, I'm not saying it wouldn't be cool. Not my cup of tea, but cool nonetheless. They would just loose boat loads of money.

Man, this just makes me so much happier with my paid off '21 Bronco with 26k miles.

You would think by now they would offer SOME decent COLORS instead of all the gray scale.

EG was my second favorite color compared to Azure. Now both are taken away 😭

I can also guarantee that ALL the people here represent <0.5% of the potential buyers of Broncos. That’s why they’ll sell mostly four door models, because that appeals to the 99.5%+, where the money is.

The joke for years on all the car forums is that if the automakers listened to the commenters, every car on offer would be a two door station wagon with a manual transmission and crank windows. In brown.

You're not wrong. the people who go out and look over what they see on say a vehicle forum are vehicle enthusiasts. Vehicle enthusiasts want different characteristics for their vehicles, and they are passionate about those characteristics. Things that are deal breakers for an enthusiast, your average buyer won't bat an eye at, and vice versa. Enthusiasts tend to care about quantifiable performance characteristics. More cylinders (power), manual gears, fewer doors. The rest is often as irrelevant as our MPG.

The average car buyer cares about practicality and looks a lot more than the raw performance metrics. More power? Eh, I have enough to merge. I'm good. Manual? Have you ever driven in DC traffic? hard pass. Only a 2 door? harder to get kids and groceries into. And give me that sweet, sweet MPG, because I don't want my vehicle to be in a complicated relationship with the service station.

The problem comes in when Enthusiasts group together and think their views are the same as the average car buyer. Those of us out there yelling 2dr manual v8 for LYFE are in the very much minority. Your average Bronco buyer Karen is out there trying to fit all her kids in the car, and her husband Kevin is trying to make himself feel as young as possible and counters the mini-van suggestion with, how about a Bronco? it can haul both kids, and plenty of groceries too. And he tells himself that he needs that Sas package because he's gonna get out and wheel it some day, but really, it's because Frank at the office conned his wife into a Rubicon, and he doesn't want to feel like a peasant.

😳..... I feel seen.

But my first "nice" semi-new car was a 1991 Ford Escort station wagon with a manual transmission and crank windows. Drove a few beater trucks before that (mostly my father's old stuff to be honest), but that car was fricken' amazing. 289,000 miles and 25 years before I eventually traded it in.

My Korean wife is hardly an enthusiast yet she daily drove her 1973 Bronco with a 3 on the tree. Though I did eventually swap in an automatic for her.

And when I say "hers" I meant that

Did someone already explain what the point in a 4 door Stroppe is?

Why would you choose this over a nearly new Braptor, given that the prices wouldn't be far off?
I think everyone is still trying to figure that out 🤷‍♂️
