Booger was delivered with 47 PSI in the tires. Question for the folks that know.
1. Is there risk to damaging the vehicle if it is driven with 47PSI in the tires?
2. Ride does seems to suffer.
3. Thanks!

Here’s a decent video on chalk testing. Get the most out of your tires. No damage will occur at 47 psi besides uneven wear to the tire.

No risk to the vehicle but your kidneys and spine will thank you for lowering the tire pressure. I like about 36psi for 33's but YMMV

The only serious risk would be ride quality and tire wear (if it was driven that way for extended period of time). It might wear at the center of the tires.

What is the max psi rating printed on your tires sidewall?

Good way to have your ass end kick out on wet roads or highway. To much psi.

Hey @Tricky Dick
If I recall, it's said that they overinflate from the factory and the dealer lowers them before the sale. IMO the recommended psi is a tad high too depending on the tire. My oem tires are long gone but I run my Pathfinder 285s at 35 and my Mickey 315s at 32.

Way too high. They overinflate them from the factory so they don't get flat spots if they have to sit for a while, you should def air down to recommended factory spec. You'll get a much harsher ride, less traction, and uneven treadwear.

I purchased two vehicles this year, Bronco and Crosstrek, and both had about 10 psi above what the door sticker said. I buy into the over inflated for shipping. As for the PDI not catching it on both I would attribute to the inspection being done by the lowest paid person in the shop. Most likely the lube tech and/or wash bay person.
