Anyone installed the Can Opener?

I’m eyeing the MOTION UNLOCK + 360° CAMERA UNLOCK (I find the speed limit cap for the Front camera way too restrictive, especially when parking).

I checked out an installation video on YouTube , and the guy said it works but he can’t swap between different camera views in reverse. Apparently also a zoom feature he has gets disabled.

He’s got a F450 and not a Bronco, so it’s probably an older model of the Can Opener - but wanted to see if anyone here’s installed it and not had any funky stuff happen?

This is for my ‘23 Wildtrak.

I have one. Never tried to switch between camera views or zoom in. Never needed to, so had not tried. All my cameras work fine. No rear camera when going forward but no big deal there. Your front and sides work just fine at any speed. The passenger can enter or query info at the touch screen when on the road. I like it.

hi
Question ? I can't find an installation video on their website, only an announcement of their product?
Furthermore according to their site they mention synck version 3 but BRONCO SYNCK 4? CAN IT CAUSE A PROBLEM WITH THE BRONCO APIM?

Bummer about the no rear camera while driving. This is a deal killer for me. When towing a trailer, it would be nice to activate the camera periodically to check that your load is secure and not shifting. Not sure what I’d use a front camera for.

Though side camera would be nice when driving close to a cliff edge. However, usually I’m going slow enough where the factory camera would be available.

About the only real benefit I can see would be allowing use of the keyboard while in motion. That is cool. But not sure cool enough by itself to justify the cost and headache of tearing apart my entire dash to install it.

For my truck I bought a nice little camera I mounted into the tail gate and then replaced my center rear view with a monitor. It is my mirror replacement. I have a rear view camera on when ever the truck is on. Separate from all other systems. Only cost me about $300 total.
