As you guys might know the 50th anniversary of the Bronco is this year and there are going to be some events celebrating it. The Carlisle is hosting one on June 3, 2016.

Any chance we get to see a concept of the 6G Bronco there??

50 YEARS OF THE BRONCO COMES TO CARLISLE
Join the Early Bronco Registry for a Fun-Filled Weekend

Continuing the theme of honoring cool rides from 1966, go off road with Ford’s original SUV, the Bronco. In conjunction with the East Coast Bronco Roundup, Ford weekend will host this group and some rare, historic and awesome Broncos. The ECBR has tweaked their annual schedule to make this event part of their summer happenings and we hope you’ll do the same. First rolling off the assembly line in ’66, the Bronco was introduced as a competitor to the small four-wheel-drive compact SUVs that included the Jeep CJ-5 and International Harvester Scout. The last Bronco produced rolled off the line in 1996 and there has been a demand from fans of the ride for its return ever since.

While many concepts have been showcased, there’s yet to be any official announcement about a return to production. Who knows, maybe we’ll finally see one of their rumored production mules in person. We’ll try to make it happen; that’s for sure. In the meanwhile, you can celebrate its history at Ford weekend starting June 3. If you want your Bronco to be part of the display, apply today. If you just want to look, that’s ok too. Either way, you’re in for a good time with some great folks and even great rides!

I think it's definitely a possibility. All depends how long Ford wants the period between a concept and a production car to be. Revealing a concept this year would mean another 3+ years until the production 6th gen Bronco is introduced. Definitely not the longest gap ever but also not very short.

How about a Bronco Concept world debut at NY Auto Show in April followed by a showing at Carlisle to the Ford faithful in June. Are you reading this Ford? :)

I doubt we see one this year or even next year. Ford doesn't have a history of releasing concepts years in advance like some automakers. In fact it seems recently they prefer to skip the concept altogether and go straight for the reveal. They did this with the Mustang, Ford GT, etc

Makes me wonder when they last introduced the Bronco Concept in 2004 did they have plans to make it but then scrapped those plans?
