Not holding my breath, it's been 2 years... A pleasant surprise either wayLol, let me know how it works out for you.
My fear would be that the order just sits there and does nothing or worse, somehow gets 99'd and deleted after 11/21. Either way, it's not getting built.
Your dealer is doing you no favors by trying to place an order for an HE-L. You may work a deal to get whatever HE-L they send him but thats about it.

Roger that, we have our Outer Banks from the same dealership, we know the folks there pretty good. But you're right, it is out of their hands and no promises are made. Just surprised the email that I received, and just put it out there to see if how many others might have gotten the same.
This is interesting as I was under the impression that these are not ordered by the customer and will be delivered to the dealer and the dealer determines how they will be allocated.

When it came around time to reorder, I just threw it out there and told my salesman, let's go with the Heritage limited.

No, I wouldn't expect anything soon.
From what I remember reading, don't think delivery won't take place till middle next year
