I just test drove an outer banks 4 door with the 2.3 (im getting 4 door badlands)

I no longer want a jeep ever. Man I love the new Bronco. Anyone who is getting impatient, go and test drive one it'll give you some fuel to wait it out longer.

Not buying “over 5,000”, nope not buying it!

First week of retail production was 6/15.

Week of 7/5 plant was shut down.

Today 7/23 completes the 5th full week of retail production.

Math

5,000 Parked Broncos / 5 weeks of retail production = 1,000 Broncos Parked per week

Based on a 5 day work week they are parking 200 Broncos per day?

Nope, not buying “over 5,000”

(yes, I know they worked a couple of Saturdays)

Also you need approx 35 acres to park 5,000 cars.
A parking lot 300 feet wide and 1 mile long.
Agreed.....Not even close to enoughroom for that many vehicles.
Maybe that poster is a..gulp...JEEP OWNER here to troll us. LOL

Well believe me or not that's what the number is. MAP has been averaging between 600-800 broncos per day so it doesn't take long to hit 5000. I'm going to assume you have never worked in the automotive industry so ill walk you through.
What most likely has happened is that Webasto provided questionable parts, perhaps missing a fix or process improvement in order to keep the line running. Then all vehicles built in that batch would be quarantined and held for a secondary inspection and repair/replacement of any sub standard tops, anything that passes inspection would be shipped.

Second that parking lot is much bigger than you think it is. One thing is when parking vehicles for a stop ship they don't park in parking spaces, It is literally bumper to bumper, mirror to mirror. That west lot you point out is over 15 acres doing a little math and assuming worst case every bronco is a 4 door with a 1.5ft clearance all around that single lot could hold over 5500 Broncos. Then of course there are the lots to the east and off site lots as well.

Fingers crossed next week they will be able to get many of these units out the gate. Ageing units do not look good when meeting with the high ups so they will want to move as many clean units off the plants books as they can so they can stop talking about it.

Any pictures of the 5,000 “bumper to bumper and mirror to mirror” sidelined Broncos?
I’ll wait ⏳⏳⏳

@PREMiERdrum ’s number mentioned on Monday July 19 - 900x60%=540

Using the body shop number of 300 per shift, you get 600 per day, 3,000 per week, 15,000 for the 5 weeks of retail production.
Parking 5,000 means every third Bronco is parked.

So, I’m still not buying your original “over 5,000” parked Broncos.

That is all I have.

Hopefully oldest built go first and the 5 weeks of waiting will be worth it.
Yeahhhhhh, seeing how Ford has handled everything thus far, "First in, Last out" wouldn't surprise me. 🤮🤮🤮

Well....my bronco along with @Greggvh ,had our broncos land in Houston at the rail yard on Satuday. Knowing that it is close by is pure torture. Going to make a drive today and check things out. It shipped from MAP on 7/13. They are coming, folks! I was a 6/29 blend.

Also, was on vacation the last week and saw this street sign and just laughed. Thought of all my 6/30 Production week friends! Did not see any broncos on the side of the road! Haha

The more I see things, the more I realize they are going to make us that have been waiting the longest wait even longer. How hard is it for them to ship out vehicles that have been sitting for going on 5 weeks and let later ones sit for a little longer? There are people that had their MIC builds get built and shipped last week, they got some great customer service. I see people post pictures of theirs's that are just like mine, built weeks after. Mine just sits there and ages another week...

So my dealer emailed my and said that his system finally showed my Bronco as produced and waiting QC inspection to be released. I had a 7/2 blend date and in production date of 7/12 on the tracker. Either I’m shipping soon or waiting longer 🤷🏻‍♂️

I am the exact same dates as you. Let’s hope they pass QC and get out the door.

My Blend was 7/2, in production is 7/2, special order date is 6/30. Tracker still shows in production, dealer says it’s built. Nothing makes sense anymore. OBX, 4Dr, 2.7, HD bumper, aux, tow, Lux, MIC, RRMet tint. Probably waaay in the back of the lot!

First, thank you for the insight and tip. But you are saying that the Ford higher ups are aware of this massive backlog. The factory managers are aware of it. There has been at least 1 meeting about it. Yet, there has been ZERO communication with the dealers, regional reps, and most importantly, the customers that those builds represent. I honestly feel no sympathy for whoever gets chewed up and spit out in any meeting for the way that this has been handled.
