This. It's also worth reminding everyone in the thread what his first response was to us being stuck in production.

The backlog is clearing. They were batch holding units for additional inspections of the roof components before being released to shipping.

Any chance @PREMiERdrum can get us a current update as of today? We're hurting!

The 'back log' he mentioned previously has to be 100s of units based on blend dates, % MIC tops, and ratio of Broncos to Rangers. I'm 100% thinking we don't get any substantial movement until after the next shutdown period at the end of the month... unless they reallocate MIC tops (or chips) and push back some other builds.

I did see a post on FB this morning on a bronco feed of a guy who went to his dealer to test drive a 2 and 4 dr. He stated the 2 dr had a MIC top and was labeled Bad Top on it. He said he could see defects in it. He didn't say what the dealer was saying about it.

Well the 2 dr hardtop seems to be the common factory as it has been suspected. Sure some 4 dr are in the mix. But seem to still being pushed out occasionally.

I think you're right. What worries me is how long is it going to take if our Broncos need entirely new MIC tops? Webasto can't even produce the ones they already need to, let alone extras to replace the screw ups
