We were out for lunch today and stopped by a local Atlanta Ford dealer.
You know why!!!
Well they had an antimatter blue Outer Banks soft top and a white Big Bend soft top.
BOTH were available to purchase.
I checked the OBX sticker and the date under the MSRP under Special Order was 7/2.
Made me want to

I then told him mine is going to a Michigan dealer 11 miles from MAP.

This may not have anything to do with our situation. I forgot to order the floor liners with my order so I placed a order with my dealer back in June and the cargo liner has yet to arrive. I called and talked with the parts guy and he did some digging and told me that a warehouse that held the cargo liner was hit by a tornado? Presumably in June? And that they had just started releasing the stock there following clean up. Could be why folks with soft tops have been waiting. I talked to him a week ago but it just hit me that other parts could have been stored there. If that was the case tho I think Ford would say that as a way to push the issue on something else.
