When we all had high expectations and hope of….like Christmas was coming.

Then Christmas passed.
Came downstairs every day to see if Santa 🎅 Ford had come, I checked for many many days!

Often taking the time to water the tree 🌲 and put out fresh cookies 🍪 !

Then one day I came downstairs and the whole tree was gone!

All that was left was a video from MAP showing the dirt pile surrounded by the hundreds of misfit Broncos! 💔

After seeing that video I seriously wonder if there is any sort of "order" to how they are put into purgatory. I mean, if you are a late June build and should be next in line for release, how do they know where the hell you are? Or do they just release them at random? Looks like a total cluster-fuck.

It's simple those that are the longest should have to wait even longer going by Ford logic.

Based on @PREMiERdrum’s recent posts it sounds like there’s new tooling coming for MIC tops and they’ll be able to start shipping hard tops in September. Looks like 50% or higher that made it out the door likely will need to be replaced on warranty and @Ford Motor Company isn't willing / thrilled with the prospect of shipping that many replacement tops after the fact and paying dealerships for labor to install. So they made the decision to park all the hard tops that showed any signs of trouble. I know a few of you have soft tops and my guess is you’re just buried in a sea of MIC tops and got lumped in with the rest of us and there was a different issue found in QC.

So if they get the tooling done, and they get through all the #BadBatchBroncos in September than September/October is likely when your expectations should be reset for.

My guess is Ford will offer a concession soon with the announcement. Warranty extended, transport, Ford Points?

Would love for @PREMiERdrum to chime in here and tell me if I’m reading between the lines correctly.

It was super shortsighted of ford to offer only a MIC top on two door orders. Hell, give me a soft top and ship my vehicle. I’ll sort a hard top later at this point.

Give us a big rebate based on how many MONTHS we have been waiting, I say!

Ford uses the FISH method for determining which badbatch Broncos to ship.

As I read this forum I do thank God that Ford has nothing to do with the medical industry.
Could you imagine being taken to the FORD Emergency room with a severe heart attack and being told that the FORD doctor will be with you in a FEW minutes and he'll help you SOON.
Meanwhile, your life passes before your eyes.......

Don't forget, Webasto makes the soft tops also, so there could be quality issues there as well.

Only thing I disagree with here is the piece about September. They are going to build all the FE's between now and September because October is when the switchover to MY22 happens. That meas our MIC tops wont be replaced until at least October, for November/December shipping. As someone who was willing to stick with this until the end, I really don't want to take delivery of a MY21 vehicle in '22. What's worse, I don't even have the option to 99 my order or change to a soft top at this point, my vehicle is built and that's it. My only other option is to start a new order and maybe wait until MY23 or MY24. It's a lose lose situation for customers who not long ago felt like they won golden tickets.

It’s total BS and coms are awful but at least, thanks to this blog and @PREMiERdrum we basically know the cause, solution, and timeline. For better or worse. Hopefully something official from @Ford Motor Company but not holding my breath. Their communications department is terrible.

Yeah I’m beginning to wish I could switch to MY22 at this point too. Maybe they’ll offer and send these to dealers to sell. I don’t think much damage would happen on a lot this long but certainly a feeling I’m getting a less than new car.

They need to NOT build any more vehicles with MIC, until ours are all fixed and shipped. That is the fair and honest thing to do.
