6.75 sub for stock sub replacement? B&O

Anyone ever tried a 6.75 sub in the stock enclosure or is it too small? Just curious.

It works. It is an upgrade over stock non-B&O, especially if amped.

If you are going to the trouble though, the 8" also fits with just a minor bit of trimming, and really shines when you put an aftermarket amp and seal the port.

Defenatley need amp that handles high level signal....Midas well get a good one 400W+ so can upgrade if 8" not good enough or when want more to a tailgate 12" loaded enclosure.

I've got a 2025 Heritage with the 7 speaker setup, and apparently the sub amp is more powerful. That probably means 150W instead of 110W.

If I use the stock location and stock amp is 6.75" or 8" recommended? I don't mind trimming. Also, it looks like the OEM subwoofer is 2ohm, wired like below.

Do I go 2 ohm for the 6.75" or the 8"?
