That’s funny! The cold front is just now hitting our area, it was 47 when I got up 1/2 hour ago, gonna be 25 within the hour. Sadly no snow coming our way, just cold(ish) here in Charlotte

Lol. Nice. Unfortunately our local weather decided to make up a storm for marketing purposes and not fact. We got a 1” with some wind. That’s about normal in Michigan even in the summer. Still more pavement than snow.

A disaster of that magnitude usually forces a closure of schools here in. Va. for about a week. Cleanup from one of these is a bitch....

Not always the case. Pre 1981 at least you could be in school, it would be snowing with a couple inches on the ground, no signs of a let up, and a teacher would have a radio tuned to our local AM news station that would begin announcing schools would close early. Now the mere threat of snow gets a closure.

Yup, I don't ever remember these bomb cyclones from when I was younger. Seems to be they just used to call them winter storms. Anyway, 12deg here in DFW with a feels like temp of -4deg. Brrrrrr. 🥶

High 59 tomorrow and 54 Sunday in Miami. When was the last time it was in the 50s in Miami for Christmas?
