67 Designs Phone Mount

First official post on this enormously informative site. Thanks to all whom have contributed.

I recently installed the 67 Designs phone mount track system (the long one).

After the first off-road trip this thing is crazy loose, movement is shy of 1/4 inch. Anyone else experience this?

I used the screws on the ends and the 3m tape on the mid span mounts.

Seems as though there is a bit too much leverage with the weight of the phone and the phone mount (I have 2 phones mounted), and the entire accessory mount is moving.

Any thoughts?

I moved mine to the grab handle bolt.

1. Didn't like my phone that high in my line of sight on the dash.
2. Too much shaking around.
3. I don't use my phone for much anyway since Android Auto exists.
