Had an amazing first day out surf fishing via the bronco today. Plus, build is looking even better than I hoped it would in the sand!! Anyone else have their beach build ready for the summer?

Just about there! I’ve taken it a bunch the past two seasons - but, just got a hard top, so now I can finally mount my Superlite. We can’t camp on the ground where we go fishing, so I was sleeping in the back next to my fridge. It was fine, but I’m looking forward to rounding out my experience.

Curious to know how far you drive with the rods in those holders? I am intrigued by the holders but my ride to the beach is 2.5 hours on 98% highway. Concerned if these holders were designed for that or just when at the beach. Thanks

Transfer from our F150. Works fine plus extra room for equipment. Rods on the roof .rack.

I drove 1.5 hrs to Montauk - 90% highway @70ish mph.

Secured each fishing pole with small bungees (6” with plastic/rubber hooks instead of metal. Wrapped the reels to the holders. No issues - both poles didn’t move.
