The passive drains....Wouldnt that mean water can get in as well as drain out?

The passive drains....Wouldnt that mean water can get in as well as drain out?

Doubtful, put possible if you don’t put the plug back in.

The passive drains....Wouldnt that mean water can get in as well as drain out?
From my understanding, the active drains have plugs that must be open/closed by the user. The passive drains, have no plug, but rather a 1-way valve.

Ah, ok....I was afraid it would be like an old school jeep that takes on water like its made out of swiss cheese going through puddles.

It can be confusing as in the article, they refer to both active/passive as "plugs". But the passive doesn't have a "plug", just a 1-way valve. Of course, one must ensure they clean their undercarriage if they are mudding as the passive drain would be prone to clogging.

I'm pretty sure "passive drain"=hole. Don't think Bronco will get USCG certified!
